I've fallen in love with this line of skincare. Results driven, no inflammatory ingredients, clean ingredient list. The best in science + nature skincare. One issue only with packaging: pumps do not travel well. After flying my serum keeps jamming and it is almost impossible to dispense product.

This AMEVA Rapid Rejuvenating Duo includes a serum and moisturizer that can be used day and/or night. The products complement each other well and are excellent for my dry, sensitive skin as they’re gentle and fragrance free, soothing and hydrate my skin well. The hydration feels lightweight at first, but it feels more hydrating to me as the day (or night) progresses. The hydration is long lasting.This duo plumps my skin nicely so my fine lines appear less noticeable and my skin looks smoother. My skin feels velvety soft and looks radiant but not greasy. These have oil but it’s lightweight and absorbs well. The moisturizer isn’t as thick as some face creams, but it’s not runny and has a pleasing firming feel. This duo works well under my sunscreen and makeup.It takes weeks (even months) of regular use to gauge long term benefits, but I’m happy so far and believe this duo has long term potential as it has ingredients proven to be effective for improving firmness, wrinkles, skin tone, hydration, comfort and more. It has Bakuchiol .5% that should help with issues such as wrinkles, skin tone and firmness as the effective range is .5% to 2% (per Paula’s Choice).This has 3% lactic acid - - a gentler AHA that improves hydration, skin tone, texture and more. The 3% seems a bit low, but I typically only use an AHA a few days a week so it may be lower by design due to other ingredients or so it can be used everyday without irritation (can’t say for sure). I’m unfamiliar with Mevalonolactone beyond what’s stated by AMEVA. These have other good ingredients beyond what I’ve mentioned. I’m pleased with this set so far and like the refill concept too. 5 stars.

Made in the USA, this is a serum/moisturizer combination set, with two glass bottles holding one ounce containers with a removable pump top. The serum is a whitish fluid while the moisturizer is a white cream. A little goes a long way with both products and they should both last roughly the same length of time if applied to the same area of skin. The primary ingredient here is mevalonic acid, used in treatment of the symptoms of intrinsic or extrinsic skin-aging or in treatment of UV-related skin damage. A search of medical literature did not reveal any studies specifically about this product, so actual results may vary. I noticed no rash, burning, or redness in response to application. Applying the serum, waiting for it to dry, then applying the moisturizer leaves skin feeling fresh without any greasy or oily feeling. There's a little sheen which fades in a little while - this can be used by both men and women, either morning or evening. The box contains a wildflower-seeded card which can be planted (nice idea!). Refills are available for about $83 (for the pair), allowing you to keep the pump and the glass bottle while just replacing the contents. The overall cost of the set is rather steep for two ounces of product, but skincare tends to be that way, and if ultimately this works nicely to improve skin quality after years of sun exposure, the cost may be acceptable.

Not really sure what to make of this product. On the one hand, it seems to be a perfectly good moisturizer though I've yet to see the --and I quote--"youthful and rejuvenated complexion" the product page promotes. But then, really, who actually believes such hype. Still, one hopes for some obvious improvement, especially at this price. It's thin, soothing, liquid, not a cream, and it takes a while on my skin to absorb, leaving a bit of a sticky feel at first. Not good for under make-up, but nice enough otherwise.I like that it natural, with plant-derived ingredients, that it is cruelty-free and a vegan product and eco-sensitive, fragrance free, preservative free and dermatologically tested for sensitive skin products. Certainly there's been no irritation on my skin and I did not smell any perfume or added scents. I like that the glass bottle is reusable,I wish all of the ingredients were listed on the product page --in fact, I wish that could be a requirement of Amazon. Water and sunflower seed oil seem to be the main ingredients, with pentylene glycol, lactic acid, and several things with long names. Per the Environmental Working Group "Pentylene glycol is a synthetic, low molecular weight solvent and skin-conditioning agent." It has a low concern for any toxicity.So, okay, a good moisturizer with decent ingredients and a company with eco-sensitivities, so all in all, a fine product. But $75 for 1 fluid ounce. Really? Could it be that much better than some of the more sensibly priced and equally eco-sensible products? (As a Vine participant, I did not have to pay the $75 and nothing in my experience using it makes me think I ever will).If I should see a dramatic change as I finish up the one fluid ounce, I will report back.

This skincare duo provides great results, while containing only slightly more than a dozen ingredients each. I really like that these products are carbon negative, vegan and free of silicones, preservatives and petrochemicals.These skincare products contain a ground-breaking ingredient in the skincare industry --mevalonic acid. I have never heard of this, so I did a little research. Mevalonic acid is a naturally occurring molecule that is a biological precursor to CoQ10, squalene, retinol and lipids. Basically, this ingredient helps skin do what it is supposed to do encouraging production of the compounds that comprise healthy skin and which tend to reduce as skin ages, such as collagen, hyaluronic acid, and growth factors genes.I love the way my skin feels when using this product. It absorbs quickly, leaving no residue. After only a few days, I can see visible results. Some of the deeper, stubborn wrinkles are showing noticable reduction. My skin feels smoother, and it seems rosier. I'm looking forward to seeing what this may do longer term.The serum and moisturizer both smell fresh and do not contain added fragrance. They come in glass pump bottles that contain smaller, replaceable product containers. The package includes an informational insert made from paper which contains wildflower seeds that can be planted, which is a nice bonus.

I was a lifeguard for 5 year in Arizona in the 90s when SPF wasn't really a huge concern. I am sure my skin has sun damage. I had no adverse reactions when using either one of these products. It also comes with a wildflower-seeded card which can be planted, which is a fun addition. Refills are available, allowing you to keep the pump and the glass bottle while just replacing the contents. I haven't seen any amazing results yet that make these products better than others I have tried, but I will continue to use and see what my skin is like when the bottles are empty.

I typically go for the lower priced facial products, but this comes with 2 products so it’s not AS bad as others where it’s this price (110 at time of review) for just one serum/moisturizer etc.I am really love this set so far! I like changing my skincare products up and rarely do I have the same brand in my routine for 2 different products, so I love that I am able to use the serum and the moisturizer from Ameva. I love that their products are 100% vegan and free of silicone, preservatives and petrochemicals.I’ve been using for a few weeks and my skin definitely feels more hydrated and very smooth!! My face definitely feels more “full”, but in a good way! I have not noticed any change in my tone, but that may come with time!!I have fairly sensitive skin and have never tried a facial product with Mevalonic Acid in it, but my skin has had no adverse reactions and seems to do well with it!! Definitely a fan of this brand and set so far!

This Mulitpotent serum is lightweight and it absorbs quickly while also leaving your skin with lots of hydration. This hydration effect plumps your skin and makes it look less dull, giving your skin a more youthful look. I am personally liking the results so far but with more use I can imagine my skin improving even more.This serum has really great key ingredients such as:-Mevalonic acid 0.5%-Bakuchiol 0.5%-Lactic acid 3%Together these ingredients should brighten your skin(reduces Hyperpigmentation), reduce fine lines/wrinkles, reduce breakouts and it renews your skin overall. A lot of these results will appear over time with more use.It’s recommended that you use 2 to 3 pumps. Once in the morning and once at night.I personally love that this serum delivers some results after one use. It made my skin feel quenched with hydration and a lot softer. This serum is great for everyone but it’s especially great for tired and dull skin. It’s awesome formula for refreshing and renewing the skin. I love it!!
