OK it's kinda limited on directions it doesn't rotate side to side, I put small lazy Susan rotating 8" pad, now it's good.

This lamp was much better than I expected. The base is HEAVY and it feels very solid. With the arm and lamp being a much lighter weight, I am not worried at all about this tipping regardless of how I have it set up. I love the dynamic range between the brightest and dimmest setting. I really like the slide adjustment on the base for lamp brightness and the lamp remembers the setting I had when I turn it back on. The "sleep" button (it has a bunch of z's on it) is a little confusing. You can tap it once and the light dims, tap it again and it gets brighter - but not always at the same level. Every once in a while, after I have tapped it a few times, the button will start to flash. I'm guessing there is a way to customize the setting, but there is no information on the very limited manual. In fact, the manual doesn't even include assembly instructions - which isn't a problem because it is extremely easy to assemble. The worse part of assembly was the tiny screw that is used to hold the arm onto the base. Luckily we have a full set of tools (and how) so it wasn't too difficult finding a screw driver small enough to fit it. Be prepared to get a jeweler's screwdriver. However, I feel like even if I wasn't able to use the screw, the arm would probably sit in place if I was careful enough. One thing I would really love to see with this lamp would be more articulation. The lamp section itself turns and slants quite a bit, but the arm is only able to move up and down. This is a minor pickiness on my part though, the lamp is really wonderful.

If you're looking for a nice study or work light that doesn't take up a lot of room on your desk and emits plenty of light, then this may be the light for you if you aren't looking for a premium build.This LED Desk Lamp, looks exactly like it does in the pictures. It has a nice minimalistic design and is very flexible and adjustable to your liking. It also has a sliding touch light brightener and dimmer, which is very convenient. It's easy to assemble and use. It was very easy for me to study and work late at night, in a dark or dim room, without straining my eyes are struggling to see. The only downside and somewhat of a disappointment, was the cheap feel of the material. I was expecting the lamp to be all metal, but the lamp is mostly made of plastic. It feels light and a little flimsy. But, since you probably won't be touching or moving it a lot, how it feels should not be an issue. I do think it's durable and sort of worth the price, but would have preferred a more solid, premium build.

This lamp very quickly became my favorite, and has a new home on my workbench. It only has one color, which is a plus for me, since I can't accidentally change that when I meant to turn it off or change the brightness. The stepless dimming is a cool feature too. But the heavy base, tall main support, and adjustability are what sold me. It stays put, is flexible enough to put the light where I need it. What more an you ask of from a lamp?

Pros I absolutely love: Extremely bright, 90 second shut-off feature, dims just by sliding your finger along the line, comes on at the same brightness you shut it off at, cord is 6 ft long, three different spots to adjust the angle, the light rotates back and forth. Cons: If I lower the top arm so it is a little above a 90 degree angle from the main arm, the light will not stay in place. The arm lowers quite quickly. I can try to work around that problem by raising the light, but it also lowers itself down. In order for it not to lower, I have to have the light at approximately 19” in height. I do not see any way of tightening these connections to hold the different adjustments in place. At some point, I'm afraid it might always lower down regardless of the height. If that happens, I’m guessing I would secure the top arm in place and just adjust the main arm and/or light itself. Because of that, I’m rating this 3-stars even though it will work perfect at my desk and provides plenty of light for photos to prevent shadows; works great with my diamond painting. At this price point, they need to have an upper arm and light that stays in place.

My home office desk is near a window and gets plenty of light during the day. However, in the late afternoon and evening, it often feels like I'm working in a cave. This lamp was just the ticket. It has a variable brightness LED on an extension arm that let's me adjust the position just right for what I'm working on. The controls are intuitive and innovative. There's an on-off touch button on the base, a slider to adjust the brightness, and a button that turns the lamp off after about 90 seconds - plenty of time to get out of the room without stubbing your toe before the light goes out. I like that.

I do medical coding and billing and I swear this light is an absolute game changer. Makes seeing books or writing soo much easier. It has adjustable lighting, goes to bright or as dim as needed. Perfect for college or anyone that works from home. This light is very sturdy and trust me I have had some that aren’t. This will make work from home soo much easier. Perfect gift for anyone.

I’m happy with this desk lamp. It’s well made and has all the features I wanted.First off, it’s a nice looking desk lamp. A nice size, too. It’s pretty tall and looks great sitting on my desk. It has a nice smooth finish all around. The quality of it all seems to be solid. I especially like the touch pad power and dimmer control on the stand’s surface. It gives it a more premium feel. On top of all that, the light itself is able to be moved around so there’s many different ways to position it so that it works for any sort of set up. It’s a great lamp and I’d definitely recommend it.
