This is a great product. I actually found this after having a bad reaction to an inulin based fiber gummy that caused an IBS flare up. ChatGPT told me about Citrucel and how it won't ferment and is unlikely to cause any problems -- and it's true! I do 2 doses per day, 1 tablespoon with 8oz water which has the added benefit of getting me to drink more water since I'm not a constant water drinker. The 2 doses is all I need for my situation and it only takes a couple minutes per day. Tastes pretty good and isn't unpleasant at all. I also have the capsules for travel but I like the powder while at home. Highly recommended.

According to commercials and the shelves of my local pharmacy, Americans can’t do three things - poop, sleep, and stay awake.After I had the unique pleasure of having a scope in my tush, my doctor said I have one of the above problems. He recommended this product daily before bed.It takes a few gos to get going but this product works. Remember to drink lots of water as all fiber adds bulk to the drop offs.And seriously no shame in using fiber. While in public bathrooms I definitely hear some things that makes me want to pass a spoonful over the stall. We don’t want to wind up like Elvis, huh?

I've tried Metamucil and other psillium fibers for constipation and found them nasty, getting thick before I could choke them down. But Citrucel doesn't taste bad and doesn't get thick like glue. Its a methycellulose powdered fiber, not a psyllium fiber like many of the other products. Its easy to get down. The orange flavor is great. And, it works good when I take it twice a day.For minor constipation problems, once a day may work for you.

You unfortunately cannot tell this isn't worth a darn until you see the effects. It is hard to describe the worthlessness of this product or at least this batch run without going into unpleasant details. SO I will try to be less detailed. Take it like this, I have tried several different brands and figured I would try this one since my favored brand is hard to catch on the shelf. I normally used "DG" brands (Dollar General Store) fiber mix. It provides a smooth effect and normal bowel digestion, but it is too often out of stock at my local store. So I wanted something I can get when I need it.But this Citrucel product doesn't have near the effective results than my preferred brand. It is almost as if its "gel" properties are totally missing. It does not help bowel movement frequency and often you can't tell you are taking anything, since it does no good.Besides that, the claim that it is orange flavored is a far miss as the flavor is hard to tell. I had to use Sucralose to sweeten the mix, and the drink was almost void of any orange flavoring at all. It is a cheaply produced, poor quality control product that does not live up to its intended purpose or claims!Pass this brand up folks, or at least this run of product as it is a rip off and will leave you constipated! I tried three jars of this and all three were useless...sorry

This is a great source of fiber. I have diverticulitis and was told to increase the amount of fiber in my diet. I tried other brands and they all gave me terrible gas pains, but after reading other people's comments about this one I thought I would give it a try. It works great and doesn't give me gas at all! I will keep using it as long as Amazon carries it. I am so thankful I found it.

I can't stress enough how good this product is. I've been dealing with IBS, bloating, gas, and pain all my life. Over the years I tried many different diets and fiber supplements. A few months ago, I came across the name Citrucel while reading about diets on an IBS forum. I had no idea that Metamucil and inulin fibers were causing me more pain and giving me more gas due to the fact that they ferment in the gut. I stopped taking Metamucil immediately and noticed a difference right away. I also changed my diet to a low FODMAP one. Finally, the combination of the low FODMAP diet and the non-fermenting Citrucel fiber have made me feel normal. My IBS symptoms are gone. The pain and the bloating are pretty much non existent. The gas has decreased as well, and now I don't have to worry about a little surprise at the end. I've already re-purchased the product and will continue to do so since it is literally a life changing one for me. Thank you Citrucel for your fiber and thank you Monash University for your awesome work on the FODMAP diet.

I started the FODMAP edit for IBS, in the book the dietician recommends this product as the ONLY fiber we can have that won't ferment and cause problems. I was skeptical as all fiber supplements bloat me. Well, I can't believe it, it really works, and I don't bloat from it. The price for me is worth it, as my diet is restricted and it is very important that I eliminate everyday. This product I will use for life now despite the cost and shipping. Totally worth it!

Product seems to what was advertised . Quick delivery considering it had to come from the U.S.. Taste is good. Been taking it for over 2 weeks. Seems to to have a calming effect. Expect results will take a few more weeks to reach fullness. Had a lot of gas, bloating, and acid reflux while using other products. That has improved enough to warrant using the product. Recommend it for those that suffer with theses types of problems.
