I put this Liquid Collagen in my water I drink and it gives it a nice flavor. I'm glad I got this product and I'll buy it again, before this package runs out.

I ordered these sachets because they are easier to travel with than the normal collagen powder that I use. They seem a little overpriced for what you get. The cost per serving is kind of high.The collagen itself works ok and it tastes fine. It works for a short stint of time, but I will not be switching from the normal powder that I use. They were a good option for travel/on the go though.

My wife has been taking collagen for some time now, and I thought these individually packaged single doses would be handy when we travel. The packets are easy to open and the collagen mixture is easy to drink, with a sweet flavor and only a mild after-taste. However, these single dose packets only include a quarter the amount of collagen she normally takes daily when she is using a powdered collagen supplement. This means she either needs to accept the lower dosage when we travel, or carry four times as many packets with us, which kind of defeats the purpose.

I was worried about the taste as I had never tried collagen in any form before. The taste is fine pretty much as described. I will continue using it.

I was very surprised that I liked the flavor of this product - and I actually liked it better throwing it in the fridge and drinking them cold. Collagen is so important for healing all parts of our body - so getting more of that intake each day is so beneficial . I normally take collagen through a powder by mixing with different drinks. This is easier to take and of course easy to travel with. I like that it also has Biotin in it as well as CoQ10 to support your bodies cellular energy. However - what I don’t love is the price for this product. Being $32 for 15 packets means slightly over $2 a packet. It’s just a decently expensive way to get collagen when the amount of collagen in each of these packets is fairly low. I think it’s beneficial to have these as an option to grab and go or as travel options when needed as they are great options - just maybe not all the time!

I am an avid health experimenter and try to do so in a scientific, reasonable way and not just someone who jumps on every new health bandwagon that comes down the street as they regularly do. We have all heard about collagen and its function to basically hold us together structurally and as it breaks down as we age, our skin sags and we just plain look older with time. Collagen supplements flooded the market at premium prices with promises of miraculously turning back the clock.I have tried to read and listen to every report possible from medical professionals regarding its efficacy and have drawn my personal conclusions. First is that proteins are made of amino acids. No matter the source of protein the body takes it and disassembles them into its component parts, much like a leggo structure can be snapped apart and the blocks can be used to assemble another structure. The digestive system doesn't care if the protein is from lean meat, vegetables or some other food source. Because it is the specific assemblage identified as collagen. it does not migrate as collagen through our bloodstream and come to rest in the wrinkles underlying our facial skin. No. The collagen is treated like any other protein, broken into its amino acids and reassembled whre the body needs to make repairs. I know there are people who swear by taking collagen, but in my mind after a deep dive is that it is most likely no more effective than if you consumed a variety of protein sources. It is however often much more expensive than just eating clean food sources or even tested protein powders if that is your supplement of choice. You are only spending more for those amino acids. This product is very convenient and easy to take along, so i give it 4 stars. Is it superior to carrying a packet of some other clean but less expensive protein source? My thinking says no. So yes, a good product if this is how you want to roll, but I believe there are less expensive alternatives to achieve the same amino supplies as raw materials for your body to miraculously do its building and repairs.

After spending some time on health websites like WebMD, Cleveland Clinic, NIH and Harvard health it was obvious that these sites all arrive at basically the same consensus. The amino acids provided by collagen peptides are not harmful. At worst they can cause some bloating or allergies. On the flip side, a number of small sturdies appear to indicate that using collagen supplements does help to ensure your body has the building blocks to synthesize proteins needed for healthy skin, bones, tendons, ligaments cartilage and to build muscle. As with most vitamins, the benefits are most noticeable for those with an unbalanced diet that lacks the nutrients your body needs. Of course, keeping a perfect diet is not possible, so ensuring your body has the underlying proteins seems a good idea. BeMe has a number of health and nutritionist recommendations and a few small studies have even been conducted on some of their proprietary collagen blends. Funding for studies on supplements is scarce (unlike big pharma), so this was impressive.The packets are easy to store and carrying single packets during travel requires little space. With liquids taste can't be avoided (unlike pills). Thankfully BeMe did a good job of creating a taste that is fairly mild and does not linger. After using the packets for a week, my body has had no issues with digestion. There are a lot of skin products that are topical, having one that works from the nutrition side seems a more fundamental way to ensure healthier skin along with stronger nails and hair.
