I have wanted a full body composition smart scale for a while and this one had a fantastic price for pretty solid reviews. I can't speak for accuracy compared to a DEXA scan as i have not had one, but for average daily use, i feel it is good enough to track your fitness trends. I had a rough year or two and have not had time to focus on my own health and fitness, so i though this would help me get an idea where i am now, and track progress as i start taking better care of myself.Setup and connectivity is not an issue whatsoever. It was fast and simple, very intuitive. I do store mine in my bathroom but i don't have a steamy bathroom. Keep in mind you will need to have space to raise your arms, so if you are like me and store it in a corner, you will need to pull it out a bit to weigh in. It looks better in my bathroom than my old 4 electrode scale did, and it definitely seems more accurate. That one i learned how to navigate but it struggled with hydration (the fat % changed by whether i was bloated etc....it would say i was 18% body fat when bloated, then jump back to around 23% when not bloated whereas this one seems more accurate.)

I picked this up because I wanted something at home to track my progress. I already get a more detailed scan at the gym with my trainer on a more complex machine, so this was meant to fill the gap between sessions. I looked at a few options and grabbed this one when it went on sale.It's a decent scale and has worked well overall, but I don't fully trust some of the numbers. Certain measurements stay stuck at the same value even when things are clearly changing, then at some point they'll drop or shift drastically, and a day later they're right back where they were. That inconsistency makes me skeptical of some of the stats.I've also had it glitch a bit, not connecting to the app, or not giving a reading at all. And I'd like a clearer explanation of what all the different measurements actually mean, since that's a big part of the value.So: decent, not perfect. Fine for basic tracking, but there's room for improvement on the accuracy and app side.
