Pregnant wife loved this. Everyone gets excited about the harnesses that clip to the seat, but with this you get the forward lap band and a but cushion.

This is a very firm cushion, so depending on your needs and comfort you should consider whether its the right fit for you. I personally found it too firm and while it is contoured which is a nice touch, that also means its not really possible to add a softer layer on top. Additionally, I will say that I find the woven fabric on the top a little rough on my bare skin, so if you are sitting on it with shorts or a short skirt, you may need to put something between your legs and the product. It does add a few inches of height to any existing seat, and this might be an added bonus for someone who is on the shorter side. In terms of the attachment part for the seatbelt, it might be a little tricky to fiddle with as you have to reach in between your legs.Also, while there is a bunch of "product safety" type fliers in the box, I'm not 100% convinced this product has actually been reviewed by any sort of US-based recognized safety advisory committee. Considering this is being marketed as recommended for pregnant people, i would STRONGLY suggest that anyone who is pregnant should consult a medical professional to make sure this product will work safely for them as intended.Last side note which did not impact the stars, but important to know: the product arrived in its own packaging without an exterior box, so the product box with the words PREGNANCY CARSEAT CUSHION on it is visible to anyone who sees it. Just letting you know in case you weren't quite ready to announce anything to your Landlord or neighbors, you may want to ship it to an alternate address.

Bought this for my daughter because she’s 7 months pregnant and taking a 12 hour trip. She tried it and quickly removed it from her seat. Not comfortable at all. Sending it back.

I really like the firmness of this seat cushion — it offers excellent support and comfort, especially on longer drives. At first, I found it a little tricky to understand how to attach the T-Sleeve to the seatbelt, especially since when I was pregnant, I simply positioned the belt below my belly. But once I figured it out, I realized this is actually a pretty nifty device!The T-Sleeve helps reduce pressure on the abdomen, which can be a huge relief for anyone sensitive in that area — pregnant passengers or otherwise. I originally got this for my husband, who constantly pulls the seatbelt away from his stomach. Any pressure makes him need to pull over (lol), so this will make a big difference for him.A few things to note, especially if you're considering this for a smaller car:1. The cushion is a bit large for my Lexus ES350 F-Sport seat. It still works, but it takes a little time to mold and settle in. I think it would be a perfect fit for a larger sedan or SUV.2. Installation took a minute to figure out, but once I had it down, it was simple. I pulled the strap forward, sat on the cushion, put on the seatbelt, attached the T-Sleeve with the Velcro facing out, and then tightened everything by pulling up on the strap and pushing the T-sleeve down.3. Getting out is easy — just detach the strap. You can leave the sleeve on the seatbelt for next time, which is super convenient.4. Bonus: the cushion is comfy even without the seatbelt modification!Overall, it feels a little pricey at around $55, but it does provide extra comfort and a nice sense of added safety. I knocked off one star mainly for the price, the size being a bit awkward in smaller cars, and the initial learning curve — but the design itself is solid and thoughtful.

I have a confession to make. I am not pregnant, nor will I ever be pregnant again in the rest of my lifetime. I have burned the factory down, and the workers have nowhere to go. However, when I saw this product, I knew that it would probably be beneficial for me, because it mentioned sciatic pain relief. Given that I have two vertebrae in my lower lumbar back that are kissing each other right now, I have sciatic pain ALL. THE. TIME. I knew I was going on a road trip soon so I ordered it, thinking it would be the perfect way to test it out.I like it. A LOT. The mesh cover was very good for ventilation, it wasn't too hot, and when I got up from the seat, it did not stick to my legs (I was wearing shorts). But the real winner here, was the fact that when I got out of the car after driving for 4 1/2 hours, I was not in any ADDITIONAL pain than I was already in. I was able to stand up and walk without any extra effort. And given how much I love driving my car, that is a BIG DEAL. I am slated for spinal surgery at the end of July, but this product will never leave my car, except when I clean it.

It’s a great height increased for the car and offers really good lumbar support. I can sit comfortably on it for over a hour and I get zero lower back pain so it is comfy to sit on for long periods of time and is very well made.My only main and HUGE issue is I cannot get the lower seatbelt to lie correctly across my lap which is very important. I tried using the included items but it doesn’t pull the belt low enough because the pillow is made too high up on the edges. I was in a car accident years ago and the lap belt caused me great issues because it was across my abdomen and hip bone. the nurse at the ER told me to always be sure the lap belt is laying across your thighs and not your hip or belly. Because of this fact, I am not using it to drive which I’m sad about because it is perfect in every other way.

I got this maternity seat cushion for my wife who is 22 weeks pregnant now. She says that the piece that helps lower the belt does a decent job. But she said the cushion itself is hands-down the best part.The material of the cushion is high-quality. It’s not too firm and it’s not so squishy that it loses its form or support. It’s made of a material that breathes very well. Another good thing is that it has a non-slip material on the bottom that keeps it in place even with constant getting in and out.I would suggest double checking the instructions to make sure that you are installing the belt holder correctly because it’s easy to put it backwards.Overall, she really likes this cushion and he thanked me numerous times for getting it for her and has said that she’ll probably keep using it even after the delivery. I'm giving this seat cushion 3 stars for ingenuity. It really is a brilliant idea to have a built-in holder for the seatbelt. I'm not exactly sure who would find this useful, as it seems the seatbelt naturally goes where it's supposed to without any help or guidance. But for someone, I'm sure this is awesome.The star-rating is really due to the overall discomfort of the seat. The back pieces really just go up too high and cause undue pressure to the lower back. For someone with a big, heavy belly, back pain is REAL, and having this extra padding here, when normally there would be none, seems a little counter-intuitive and unnecessary.The cushion itself is also unnecessarily hard. I was hoping for something with a little more give in it. I do, however, like the kind of "hug" feeling you get from the higher sides around your hips.Comfort is subjective. What one person finds comfortable may not be so for the next person. But I think the design is clever, and it might very well be a life-saver for some; it just wasn't for me.
