First and foremost, don't put this on babies. That's wild work there. Like why are we doing this?Anyways, this lightener works really well if you manage your expectations. You will turn orangey. No doubt about it. My hair is a level 7 and it turns brassy. If you're not willing to trust the process, I'd suggest going to a salon. This is a project and it will take several applications. It smells nice. Like a beachy banana type scent. It's sticky, so I'd suggest using it when your hair is already dirty so you don't ruin a wash day. I've used this for years and it doesn't seem to cause much damage, as long as you take care of your hair after with some conditioner or hair oil. I've used both Sun-in and Suntouched and this is my favorite. Sun-in is faster, but there is noticeable crispiness after using that one.If you put it on dark hair, it'll turn red. On light brown to dark blonde, it'll be brassy... but if you keep with it, it'll eventually get you where you want to go.

If you’re tired of paying hundreds of dollars to have your color done, give this a try. Don’t pay too much attention to the reviews that say it turns your hair to straw. I used it fairly aggressively and it’s done wonders for my hair. I i’ve always been a blonde - but I have paid hundreds and hundreds of dollars over to partially or fully highlight my hair . I do have a great stylist but for various reasons I couldn’t get to her for a number of months and I remembered “Sun in”! I don’t know that I will always use this for my color, but it’s tied me over now for at least four months. By the way, it’s the heat of the sun that activates the process - so yes, you can sit in the sun but it occurred to me use my hair dryer for faster results

I have used this 3 times in between washes and can tell a noticeable difference! I forgot to take before and after pics, however this is what I found:Yes this works with a blow dryer. I wash my hair once every 3-4 days with dry shampoo in between. I use this either after I wash my hair while it is damp, or the next day on dry hair by spraying thoroughly and then blow drying for about 5 minutes on medium heat after i have brushed the product through.I am naturally a dark ashy blonde and this has definitely lightened my hair in only 3 uses. I will note that this does make my hair lift a bit warmer than I’d like so I may eventually use a toner of some kind (but pre-summer I’m fine with the warm tones).This works just as well if not better than sun-in. It definitely has a ‘beachy’ smell. I have a lot of hair but it is on the finer side so I don’t really like any products that leave a ‘weight’ or texture to my hair which this does, however it’s not heavy more like using a sea salt or texture spray in your hair. I usually put mine up with a clip for 2 days after.I feel like it does continue to “develop” for at least another day so I wouldn’t use this and then wash right away but after washing my hair is just as soft as before with no damage. I haven’t noticed any split ends or frizzy texture from using this. Definitely well worth the price and I will keep buying.

Really lightened my naturally dirty blonde hair in just once use. I get my hair highlighted but it’s so pricey that I decided to try and skip a couple highlights over the summer. I sprayed a liberal amount on my roots and underneath layer of my hair. Afterwards I spent about two hours at the pool in the sun. There was a noticeable difference. I do notice a slight brassy look and have ordered a purple toning mask which I think will tone it down. The product smelled great—a light beachy scent that was not overpowering in the least. I actually think it made my hair feel softer. it was easy to apply and worked so quickly. I don’t think it would work very well for darker hair but those with lighter dirty blonde or very light brown should see fairly natural looking lightening. Definitely more affordable than salon highlights. I’m sure I’ll get my hair salon highlighted at the end of summer but this has allowed me to extend my salon highlights by a couple more months, which saves $$$$. Overall I am very pleased.

Honestly works really well. I naturally have blonde hair already but this gives it a lighter and more sun-kissed look, perfect in the summer.

I have naturally brown hair and I put it in every time I tanned over summer. It turned my hair an orange ish warm toned brown and way lighter than it was before. It definitely works and is strong but DRIES OUT YOUR HAIR SO BAD!!! It makes your hair feel like straw and start feeling super damaged like it was bleached. And if you go to the salon to get your hair done you have to tell them or else they could put in products that react poorly and your hair could fall/melt off. Be careful!

My hair used to be dirty blonde with natural but very light blonde highlights but pregnancy permanently darkened my hair. After reading other reviews, I followed advice of someone who recommended pulling strands for "baby highlights" going pretty easy the first round. I took the surgical route vs. spraying it all over my head, and followed where highlights naturally tend to show up during summer. Saw subtle lightening after the first round (wait for it to develop, it's not instant) and after the second round, I could see my long-lost hair color is finally starting to come back!

Amazing! Saving me so much money. I have naturally blonde hair but like some highlights a couple times a year. I spray by this during high UV while I run and a couple times I have bright highlights. Doesn’t seem to dry out- use an extra conditioner after using and hair is happy.

I bought this product to lighten my roots as I got some highlights that got really light over the summer and although in a natural datk/ash blonde, next to the highlights my roots looked sooo dark so I decided to try it after reading good reviews and I LOVE it! I'm only a couple of applications it really lightened my roots and blended them in with the rest of the hair! I think it helped that my hair is naturally some kind of blonde and I did go in the sun. It smells so good too. I'll buy again as it saves me so much money from having to get roots done at the salon! (See before and after pics!)

It’s like sun in without frying your hair so badly, visible effects to brighten and lift dull natural blonde hair that goes a little flat in the winter, one application on damp hair and hit with the hair drier with diffuser attachment and I look more like my summertime self. I wouldn’t suggest people with darker hair than a mousey brown or dark blonde use it as it will bring out brassy tones. I suggest using the hair drier fairly hot and then going out in the sun as it is both heat and UV activated for visible results

Sehr tolles Spray und es funktioniert! Die Haare sind wesentlich heller danach. Direkt auf die frisch gewaschen und noch feuchten Haar aufsprühen und am besten mit Hitze trocknen oder eben in der Sonne.
