I used this for live-streaming. The angle downward is great for a view of a whole room with limited space and little movement, just set it high above and use wide angle.I can enable all other features besides center stage when using this, which is great cause I can have my iPhone also doing Portrait and Studio Light.It works in every app I’ve tried for live-streaming, and generally it seems if you can “tap to focus” at least, the app will likely work. It seemingly uses a proprietary Bluetooth connection to complete the setup.Lastly, I suspect the device is somewhat fragile as there’s instructions on how to move the device and how to handle it generally. These are worth your overview as they’re easy to accidentally attempt even afterwards, such as, wanting to manually turn the camera or stop it with your hand.I truly hope a software update to the iPhone will allow for AI-enabled hand controllers for controlling this with gestures, otherwise, the button on front serves at both on/off and the “pause” for tracking.Want I wanna see next, without a revision that adds additional cameras, is the ability to remotely control the device. Maybe also a Panorama Mode, or “constant 360” mode for talking while walking around the camera at a consistent rate.That being said, for $165 after discount, the price even at retail is hard to beat other gimbals and their included apps. I would expect this to be priced at $120-$99 for a sale, and would suggest your get multiple at that price for a professional multi-camera setup on a minimal budget (assuming friends with iPhones).

I purchased this for multiple uses. It is a good desk top mount and charging station with the mag-mount. The facial tracking for video streaming was excellent. The internal battery that allows for on the go use is good. The only thing that needs improvement is the set up instructions. They’re vague drawings. I went to Youtube to help me set it up. I like this enough to possibly buy a second one.

Después de tanto tiempo usando, El equipo es perfecto, funciona bien a mi hija y a mi esposa le encanta usarlo para hablar sin tener el teléfono en la mano. Pero por algún motivo a las 2 de la mañana casi tengo que llamar al 911 porque se me quema la casa, el equipo que se estaba cargando, cogió candela empezó a echar chispa, la parte que se quemó fue por donde se conecta el cable para cargarse porque se ve como una batería, y no se disparó el breque de la casa que pensé que había sido un cortocircuito de los cables por tanta tensión de corriente pero a esa hora todo estaba apagado, al principio pensé que era solo el equipo quemado, después me di cuenta que había quemado la silla, con humo por toda la casa y olor a químico que tuve que abrir las puertas porque el olor era muy fuerte. Gracias a Dios que estaba en la casa ese día y no trabajé porque mi esposa y mis hijas ni se enteraron por estar dormidas. También tengo un vídeo del momento tengo que descargarlo de la cámara.

The device is easy to pair and works great as long as there is only one face in the field. When there is more than one face, the iPhone software decides which face to focus on and it seems to change the focused face depending on where there is more movement. I wish there was a way to select one of the faces for keeping track of movements.

I found this on YouTube when looking for an option outside of the iPad feature known as center stage. This works with my iPhone 12 and syncs up easy. Definitely gives a good appearance that you have another person capturing your video. It does not, however, track you if you use time lapse video which sucks since I do that often for quick story creation. But overall this unit is awesome and easy to set up. Recommend getting a budget tripod and a magnetic phone case.

With the upcoming IOS 26 release, there is supposed to be an icon in the control center to turn on and off tracking.Also, there is a new icon in the Dynamic Island when connected.(This may be for iPhone 16 and newer)Currently have the 15PM, and nothing.

The first thing you need to check is compatibility before you buy this. If you have an older iPhone it doesn’t work. But if you’re not like me and actually upgrade your phone routinely you won’t have a problem. iPhone 12 and above. Ines upgrading anyway so not a big deal.Once I had a phone that was compatible it could not possibly be easier to set up. You literally hold you phone on the base for a second then you get a pop up asking to sync your phone. Say yes and that’s it.Very sturdy unit, the charger works fast and the magnet is good also. The face tracking is super cool if you’ve never used it. It rotates 360° and even when you are somewhat far from the unit it tracks you. Very handy for FaceTime, Teams meetings, and any other face to face application you might have through your phone.

I feel theres some misleading information out there about how “Magsafe” your phone case may be when having it work on a charger like this.I just purchased an Iphone 16 ProMax with a Speck case. Speck said the case was Magsafe.However, its not safe enough, strong enough, for this Belkin charger to work. So…… I had to return it.These chargers are by no means cheap so I would suggest that you make sure you double check the Magsafe strength of your case before putting out a C-note for a charger. Live and learn.
