Very soft and nice case protector that has already been tested when my iPad fell off the bed in the case. No damage or scratches on body of iPad. Highly recommend for its flexibility, stability, multi use positioning and magnetic case. Easily removable case, watch a video on it first. The black is dark and at night it floats in the sky when watching a movie. The case can be heavy, but its size and value is definitely worth investing in.

Perfect cover for your iPad pro. A bit on the heavy side but very durable and the multiple configuration options are what sold me. Intake this on the plane all the time and the viewing angles work if you're in a tight coach seat, or sprawled out in business class. The magnets work well and the case is tight. Far better than other options out there.

A bit heavy but what a great case! Definitely durable (nice feel!) and nice aesthetics, but all of the various angles to position your iPad are what really make this case. The kickstand cases I’ve tried make my wrists hurt when trying to type at such awkward angles and this case allows for real comfort. In fact, you kind of have to lean in to use Face ID at some lower angles. Another HUGE plus is being able to remove it from the magnets and you’ve still got protection! That’s a big deal! My Magic Keyboard, although I really like that keyboard case, doesn’t have any protection once you detach it from the magnets; it’s just the iPad.I highly recommend this product! I’m happy I came across it because I was about to settle for another out of exasperation. This is the one!

I bought this case for multiple purposes. First was to protect my iPad when traveling, and second was for day to day home use. Honestly, the magnetic back is an incredibly cool feature for experiencing the thinness of modern iPads, but I tend to forget that its available and keep the iPad stuck onto the case itself. All the different ways you can unfold it and all the stand shapes are rock solid, and the ability to move it higher up or in a different orientation by utilizing the magnetic back is a really strong feature. My chief complaint is the size. When you are using the full case rather than the detached magnetic version, the iPad is about twice the thickness of the device itself, which is a bit unfortunate for an iPad model that speaks towards how thin it is. Despite this, I am ok with the sacrifice for the features provided, and will likely continue to buy ESR products in the future.

Outstanding quality case. Yes, it's heavy, but I don't think I'll find a better, sturdier and versatile case than this one. Super strong magnet and great stability, apple pencil attaches and charges with no issues. The price reflect the quality.Highly recommend it, even more for someone who draws on iPad and needs a stable case with a variety of angles.

This case is very definitely a unicorn. It’s pretty cool. Using it for the iPad Pro 13. It has all kinds of features. The snap on piece fits the iPad perfectly. It really fits well. Just I alone is a good protector for the iPad. Then there is the folding stand piece. It is heavy! But it has to be to do what they designed it to do. The iPad can be propped up in a typing mode or a viewing mode. Has a variety of grooves and there are magnets to hold it in position. I am giving it a try. I’m not sure the weight is worth the features. I’m typing on my lap right now and it seems to prop it up well. I have tried it for viewing and it is very stable. But for carrying the iPad it makes it pretty heavy. It does have the space for the Apple Pencil and that works well. And also a holder on the back for the pencil. I have a couple other cases on order form the same company so we shall see what ultimately see what seems to work the best. I may send this one back and keep one of their lighter cases. It I do like this because it really feels like it would protect the iPad as well. And the way the iPad fastens in with magnets it’s easy enough to remove it with the snap on case still attached for making it lighter.I’ll update with more. But it is definitely something they put some thought into that for sure. And if it want heavy I don’t think standing up the iPad would be stable and at $2000 it definitely needs to be protected.

This is the best iPad case I have ever used. The adjustability is amazing. I especially love how it elevates the iPad up a few inches, it makes it perfect for flights since I don’t have to be looking straight down at it. I can angle it low and use it to write with my Apple Pencil, and then angle it up higher to watch videos. It makes it perfect for whatever I want to do with my iPad. The removable case is also perfect since it means it’s always protected, and it’s thin enough that the Apple Pencil magnets are still strong. The Apple Pencil pouch is a little bit tight, but it still works fine for holding it. It feels very high quality, and overall this is a great product.
