This pump is the best one I have ever owned, and I have tried many different brands. This pump is durable and easy to use. The removable base makes cleaning SO easy! I have a 40ft x20 ft inground pool, and when we have a big rain, it clears the water off the cover in less than an hour. It is very quiet and sometimes I would have to get it in the water to make sure it was actually on, but it was! It also has an automatic shut off which is very helpful when life gets busy and you forget that it is still plugged in. The cord length is so useful as well. I still have to use a lengthy extension cord because if where my pool is, BUT the cord does not even come close to standing water which is a major plus! The manual is easy to follow and setup takes no time at all. If there are any issues with the pump, customer service is AMAZING! I definitely recommend this pump!

Pump works well, but has a limited lifespan. I've had two of these, and they last ~18 months before they stop working (which is similar to my experience with pool pumps from other companies). While this is disappointing, the company has a very strong warranty and excellent customer service. Both times they have immediately sent a replacement pump. While it would be nice if the product lasted longer, the warrant and customer service have far exceeded my expectations.

Product worked perfectly, until it stopped working, then was replaced free of charge. bought 11/24 replaced 1/26This company is superb, they stood by there product.

I really like the performance of this pump but I have an issue with the blue base that it sits on. First of all, this thing can really pump the water much quicker than the pump that came with my pool installation. What used to take 30-45 minutes is now under five minutes with pumped water shooting like a fountain from the hose! This pump really moves all the rainwater so fast! It's much better performing than the pump it replaces. Now my issue: the blue base snaps on the bottom of the pump and it's designed to keep debris from the water out of the pump so the pump doesn't get clogged up. It does this function very well, but I wish the base to pump connection was a lot stronger. Like many of you, i have a hard time getting the pump in the center of the pool cover so I use the cord and the hose to maneuver it across and to where I want it. Well that's almost impossible with this pump because the base snaps off with any resistance. I can't slide it or move it without the base detaching from the cover. My solution has been to use a hook on my pool pole to lift and place the pump where I want it but even this comes with a chance of the base falling off. It's just not a tight connection and the base can be snapped off (not broken - but detached/seperated) so easily that it's really a pain. I've thought about using adhesive to permanently glue the two together but that could lead to other issue with flow etc. not a dealbreaker but kind of a pain with this design. Thanks for hearing what I think of it - going with 4 stars.

I have purchased a few of these pumps over the years. I have had a pool for 40 years. I live in NJ and have a in ground pool. Pump works excellent as it should on my winter cover. In the ice and snow its difficult on any piece of equipment. Right now its buried in 2 feet of ice. We received 2 feet of snow here a week ago. The day before the big storm , I had a lot of water on the pool cover. It was 45 degrees out. I was breaking some thin ice to move the pump and I accidentally broke the output that connects to a hose. In all honesty, it was my fault. I emailed the company , told them my story in fact that I did it and would pay for the part I needed. They send me a new pump right away. They could have sent the part and I offered to pay for it. That's customer service. That pump is essential to the operation of my winter system. Please Know, I will buy this pump again. I recommend this company for going the xtra mile. Thank you.

I purchased this close to two years ago.  It worked fine pumping out excess rainwater from a crawl space area during rainstorms.  However, I tested this unit a few days before a big rainstorm was to hit my area by submersing it in a large container of water to see if it worked properly. The pump did not pump out the water.  The unit turned on, but would not pump water through the attached garden hose. It only worked correctly when the garden hose was removed.  I emailed the company, and they were very polite and gave me numerous suggestions to try and solve the problem in two different emails. I tried all of their suggestions, and the pump would still not pump water out through the garden hose even though it turned on.  So the company sent me a brand new item that I recently received(took only a week to get it) and I submerged it in the container of water and it works just like it is supposed to.  I am very impressed(and honestly very surprised) that this company stood behind their product and were willing to honor the 3-year warranty on this pump.

The pump works flawlessly in getting water off my pool cover in a fast and efficient manner. Their customer service is also outstanding. They are quick to respond and worked with me on an issue with the blue filter that goes underneath the filter. They sent a replacement, ASAP. I would highly recommend this vendor.

Our pump failed shortly after the device fell out of warranty. Company was easy to reach and responsive. When troubleshooting failed they provided a replacement anyway. Much appreciated.

i bought this to use with my grandkids water tower. it runs non stop for hours with no issue.

I bought this pump to remove water from my automatic pool cover. Product appeared solid, was quite heavy and looked to be well built. Assembled easily and confirmed without hose it pumped water well. Once I attached a 30 foot hose, I put the pump back on the pool cover - insufficient power to pump water through a 30 foot garden hose. Garbage product, lacks power and will have to buy another brand. Don’t waste your time if you are using this to remove water from a pool automatic cover, it doesn’t have the strength to pump and becomes a 4 pound paperweight.

Amazing. Sucks sooo much water off my pool cover, so fast. Go for a bigger tube as this pump can cope with the volume.

This device has been reliable all winter. The power of pump is excellent and consistent. The only gripe I can mention is that the base grate can get clogged and may need a quick cleaning, however it does do it's job and keeps the motor from getting jammed up. It's worth the price.

This Acquaer pool pump is junk! I purchased my home with this pool cover pump when it was only 1 season old. In under 2 fall/winter seasons it died. I chocked it up to a bad unit and purchased another one based on the good reviews. I always ensure leaves and debris are clear of it and these 2 pumps have never been frozen.It has been less than 4 seasons Nov 1st 24/ and both pumps have failed. They won't keep the prime therefore wont pump the water off my cover. These are the most expensive or close to it on Amazon so s/be a quality item.Keep Looking this product is junk.
