Bought this for my daughter (many miles away) to save her back shoveling. We’re both very impressed by the light weight design, ease of use, and strong throw. Dewalt batteries are a perfect. Once you learn how to “sweep the snow” you can handle even larger snowfalls and direct the thrown snow to where you want it.

Does it work? Kind of. Yes, it throws snow. But it doesn’t dig deep enough and will leave a thin layer of snow in your driveway. Also, it doesn’t have vanes to guide the direction snow is thrown.Also, the head of this thing is waaay too narrow.It works well for clearing out small pathways but that’s about it. I found it was faster to just use a shovel

This cordless snow shovel has been a total lifesaver this winter! It works perfectly with my DeWalt 20V battery, so I didn’t have to buy extra batteries. I was surprised how far it throws the snow too.It’s lightweight and the adjustable handle makes it comfortable to use without back strain. Works great. I haven't had a chance to use it much, but it does what it's designed to do. I had less than 2 inches of snow fall and it handled it without issue. I don't doubt that it can handle more. The only issue is, it throws the snow straight out, not at an angle. With a big snow fall, you'll want to clear the driveway or sidewalk at a slight angle to throw the snow away from what you're trying to clear. For the price, I don't regret my purchase.

Well idea is great in comparison of bulky heavy gas operated snowblowers. I bought this to avoid pulling larger blower out when snow is less than 4 inches. 3" powdery snow and this thing bogged down and stopped every few inches (not feet). Tried every way with fresh charged batteries but it failed miserably.It doesn't have torque to keep moving. My battery operated leaf blower was moving more snow than this.It may have worked for those who has given 5 stars but did not work for me.
