I own a cat rescue and have used many carriers for travel. This is by far THE BEST, well thought out carrier with wheels I have ever used in my life. My daughter was traveling from New York to Virginia by train with her companion cat and was very nervous to use this. It worked like a charm. The locks on each zipper, we're very well thought out, the wheels turn so incredibly easily at a moments notice, the space inside was huge - she has a 15 pound cat. The cat was comfortable and had plenty of room to move around, he could see on all sides of him, and my daughter, it was very comfortable using this as it was easy for her to pull the cat and be able to hold on to her carry ons while walking on and off the subway, streets of NYC, and the train. This is an excellent excellent product that was so well thought out. Highly recommend!

This was the best purchase I have made to travel with my pup. He was very comfortable and happy. The wheels made it so easy to travel and walk throughout the airports. Easy to take apart and put together. I am very pleased and so was my pup. It fit perfectly under the seat in front of me. Easy to get him in and take him out. I loved all the zippers and the ease to check on him during the flight! Great product! I highly recommend!

This has been the best pet carrier I’ve used so far! I have two pups, and this was my first time trying it out over the holidays. I flew with Southwest, which allows only two pets per carrier (per person), and I was flying solo. I have a 12lb Pomeranian mix and a 6lb Shih Tzu, and they both fit comfortably! They had enough room to move around, turn, and get cozy. I was even able to toss in two small toys and an extra cushion at the bottom (though it wasn’t really necessary).Since I have chronic back pain, having wheels was a must for me. The pull-up handle is a bit flimsy, but once the carrier has weight in it, it stabilizes. That said, it can be a little awkward to maneuver, especially if you’re in a hurry. The Velcro straps make it super easy to detach from the wheels, and if I need to move quickly, I just grab the hand straps instead of using the pull-up bar.Side Note: If you’re flying Southwest, they only allow two carry-on items (a personal item and one other bag), and they’re usually strict about it. I walk onto the plane with the wheels attached and then remove them once I’m at my seat, no issues so far!

Love it. Vincent needed a better way to go to the Vet. He will make a good entrance in his new carrier. It's secure, attractive and has a handle like a suitcase to pull the carrier.Vincent is a big tom cat. His hard shell carrier sags and the door opens when I carry him in it using the handle. So I can not use it unless I cradle it. That's a job to do.But Vincent can be pushed or pulled in this carrier. The carrier is not very big. But he fits comfortably. I also like that the top unzips to let him out.Vincent went inside to lay down. So he likes it enough. And it's made with a nice strong durable fabric. And the wheels work fine. It will also fit in the backseat of the car using the seat belt.

The carrier is great for rolling dog around airport and on airplane or to use in the car. But on Airbus 300 it won't fit under the seat

This bag was a nightmare when going through security. I wish I had listened to the warnings from previous reviewers. The velcro system on this bag is excessive, and disconnecting the numerous velcro straps on the wheel plate takes too much time. In an attempt to save time while holding my cat, I decided to let the bag go through the scanner without disconnecting it. That turned out to be a HUGE mistake. The bag became stuck in the security imaging machine, creating a chaotic situation. You definitely don't want this to happen while managing your cat in a busy airport. It's essential to disconnect the wheel plate. Unfortunately, the entire wheel plate was damaged, rendering the wheels useless after the staff finally retrieved the crumpled bag from the machine. I had to carry the bag without the wheeling mechanism for the remainder of my trip. In the end, this was a $100 waste of money. I ended up buying a better wheeled bag that only has two velcro straps to disconnect the plate, which is crucial for smoothly transitioning through security and stowing it in the overhead bin on the plane.

I am so happy with this carrier!!! I flew to another State last week to pick up my new furbaby. The carrier was TSA approved for under the seat, but I had a terrible experience. 9 week old pups are a super heavy to lug through the airport! I was totally stressed out about banging her into my legs and scaring her. I pick up my 2nd furbaby April 11th and decided they MUST sell carriers with detachable wheels. Sure enough, this carrier is EXACTLY what I was looking for!! It was just delivered and it will totally make this next trip stress free. The Velcro straps to hold the carrier on the base works great (tried it with puppy #1). Secure attachment, smooth easy roll and the handle has several lengths. The handle is kinda flimsy but will work just fine for a 9 lb pup!! I have determined that before I board the plane, I will unfasten the velcro and just set the carrier on it to roll it down the ramp. Once on the plan, I can just set him in our seat and quickly fold the wheels and stash it in the over head. It literally just folds and is pretty compact. BTW... if you are flying Southwest, don't book the first row, no underseat space OR the aisle seat, they have a tiny under seat area. Thank goodness the middle seat was open, not sure what I would have done! The window seat is my pick for pup #2. Also I love the extended head room for when you are not in the plane. It works great, does not sag and opens so they have more freedom in the terminal while still contained. Side pocket is great and where I kept my phone and pup treats. Seriously, I am no longer dreading my next airport experience for furbaby #2!! Hope my experience helps!
