This is a great countertop water purifier, easy to use, portable, and makes great tasting water. Unfortunately the the unit stopped working after six months. The return window for Amazon has passed and Amazon suggested I contact the manufacturer. I contacted iSpring and spoke with Michelle. Michelle was very helpful and kind. I emailed her a copy of the purchase receipt as requested and another unit was sent within a few days (unit was under a one year warranty). Everything worked out. 😊

This gadget worked great for about 6 months. Tonight it just died without warning. Would have been great had it kept working.Edit: I've increased my rating to 5 stars - Nick in customer service came through for me. I wasn't expecting a friendly voice on the support line or the ease with which the customer support rep took care of my issue. I explained that the thing simply died, and he immediately offered to ship a new one- without my shipping back the dead unit, though I offered. He asked that I send a screen shot of the Amazon invoice for the unit in an email, and today I received a response stating that a new unit is being shipped. I didn't mention above that while the unit was in operation, it worked wonderfully- City water around the Gulf coast isn't the cleanest or best smelling, but this unit always produced crystal clear filtered water. I especially like the hot water feature; saves time for drinks and cooking. After 6 months, the filters were still going strong, even with constant use.After my experience with the unit and with customer support, I'm about to purchase the version of this filter with the alkalizing feature- it's worth the price.

I purchased this due to high nitrate levels in our city tap water. After doing a before and after test the water quality has greatly improved! Prior to use our tap water had a distinct chlorine taste and now tastes like FamilyMart bottled water.I asked iSpring customer support about the filter’s ability to remove nitrate before purchase and they replied in a fast and friendly manner.
