Perfect size for 1 large cat. I was worried with it only having the back half heated but she loves it. She moves between the heated back section and the unheated section on the front. She's always toasty when she comes out of it. It's sturdy and water proof. Highly recommend.

This is an awesome product! My Floof, an old outside long-haired cat loves it! It's size is ideal for a larger cat or a small dog. The size allows for efficient heating and has kept my cat safe and warm, even in single digit temps.

Would be much better if entire pad was heated. Good for a small cat, not for a big one unless you purchase a different heating pad to go with it since only half of the pad is heated. I purchased two of these. I wasn't sure if the feral cats would use them, but last night each house had one of the girls in it.Tonight, the snow turned to sleet and rain. Though the temperature is warmer, it feels colder. The larger of the two girls gave up her heated house for the straw filled hutch so she doesn't have to curl up in a ball to stay warm. The houses are on a porch wrapped in plastic. One of the houses is in a doghouse on a table and the other is on a hutch sheltered by the doghouse, so they are well out of the weather. The big girl still gave it up to get into a styrofoam cooler because only her butt was warm.

Great for outdoor cats

My cat loved this house. It is a bit small so smaller cats do well and larger cats don't get in it. My smaller cat was mostly outdoor and she used it all winter. She now comes in the house more often and at night. probably won't be used during the spring and summer.

I have other K&H houses and am happy with them, and assumed this would be the same. It is not. 1) Advertised as outdoor/indoor but instructions say indoor only, plus it, inexplicably, has holes in the bottom. 2) I took three tries at putting it together and finally gave up. I thought it would be velcro, like the other K&H houses I have, but it's a big, long Rubik's cube of a zipper. 3) Heating pad is funky, and is only half the size of the floor of the house.I liked the shape, but unfortunately, this is a definite return, zero meows.

Cats like to hide in things like boxes and underneath items. This cozy cat shelter is perfect for a cat with style!Unlike other reviews, I felt it was easy to zip this together and it's fairly sturdy. It's not meant for severe weather outside, like subzero hard freezes. But if it gets wet from the rain, it's no biggie. It's a bit bulky so using it indoors will need a good size area so you don't bump into it.It comes with a heating pad built into a cushion so your pet stays warm and dry. The heating pad doesn't put out a ton of heat, but it suffices. There is a small hole cut into the shelter to pass the power cord through so it keeps things neat and they don't trip over it, or even chew it.Just unzip it to clean it if needed. This is currently being used in an outdoor unfinished shed that stays partially open year round so stray cats have a safe place out of any terrible weather. This shelter is always occupied by a stray. They all seem to love it.I also have a pod that this company makes and it has served my indoor cat extremely well for at least 5 years. Knowing that this cat house is made in a similar way by the same company, leads me to believe it has a lot of longevity built into it.Cats will love this!

So disappointed for our elderly cat! Going to have to return as supplied in U.K. with a US plug and not a three pin U.K. plug.

Takes seconds to zip it closed and then you just plug it in. It has a grommet hole for the plug to go through at the back of the unit. The heating pad is intended to give gentle heat and is on a thermastat. I'm feeding a feral cat at the moment that was neutered and released but is lives outdoors at my place. I hope one day he'll be able to come in. Shipping was super fast. Does come with a plastic in/out flap that velcros in place. Until winter sets in and I know the cat is using it I've let the flap off. I'm very pleased with this purchase. I have it placed on my front porch under the soffet. I did layer plastic over it to keep snow off and it fits perfectly underneath the patio chairs which give it more secretiveness which a stray cat will like and also more weather protection.

Ordered this heated hut friday and received it Saturday. Tested the heating pad and it worked so I assembled the hut. It took about 15 minutes from start to finish. The material is thick and sturdy and looks totally windproof. I put the hut out Saturday evening and by Sunday afternoon the stray I've been looking after for 4.5 years was inside and so cozy warm. I was genuinely surprised....I thought it would take longer for him to sniff it out and test it so I am really happy about that. I thought the price was reasonable and esthetically pleasing. I didnt put the plastic flap on the door because I found it stiff. When the really cold Canadian winter hits I think I am going to put it on a raised platform and cover it with a large plastic storage bin. Overall I am extremely happy with this purchase.

Excelente casa para gatos, es muy amplia, caliente y segura. La estoy usandola con un timer y funciona excelente. los gatos la usaron inmediatamente y no la dejan de usar. En estos meses de frío les encanta y es adecuada y bonita para un departamento.
