I don’t usually write reviews, but I’m honestly impressed with the Dahivs Outdoor Cat House. I wanted something that could keep my two cats comfortable when they hang out in the backyard, and this has worked out perfectly.First off, the assembly was straightforward — everything fit together nicely, and the instructions actually made sense (a rare win). The material feels sturdy and weather-resistant, not flimsy like some of the other ones I’ve tried before. We’ve had a few rainy days since I set it up, and the inside stayed completely dry.My cats were a little hesitant at first, but after tossing in one of their favorite blankets and a few treats, they claimed it as their own within the hour. Now they nap in it every afternoon like it’s their personal clubhouse. I also love the way it looks — clean, simple, and it blends in nicely with the patio instead of standing out like a plastic toy.It’s big enough for two cats to stretch out comfortably but still cozy enough to keep warmth in. I added a small heated pad for the cooler nights, and it fits perfectly.If you’re on the fence, I’d say go for it. It’s well-made, easy to set up, and (most importantly) my cats genuinely love it.

Absolutely love this heated outdoor cat enclosure!. Well made, easy to follow instructions included. Heating pad warms up quickly and is quite warm to the touch. I added reflectix insulation all around for added creature comfort. This is a really solid enclosure and you just need to use some pressure to snap the pieces together for a snug fit. No air gaps.

Purchased this for a stray cat in the neighborhood in Minnesota in the winter. It was easy to put together and has held up great in the cold weather. We have had multiple snow storms, and no snow gets inside and the pad stays warm and dry. It seems very sturdy and would purchase again if the need arose. Unfortunately, we haven’t been able to get the cat to go into it yet but we’re working on it. It’s a process. I will update once the cat decides to explore the home. It took him three weeks, but he finally has gone into the house, but I had to tape open the escape door to get him to go in the temperatures. Here are between 10 below zero and 30° above, but he is now using it every night. We’ll work on closing the escape door and getting him to use the other door in another couple weeks. I found that small steps and patience are the key

Great little shelter. Feeding a stray and there were ants that kept getting in the food or it would rain and the food would get wet. Now can put her food in the house. It stays dry and there are not ants all over it. The heating pad is enough for our cold snaps in Florida. It's not overly hot and seems well made.The house was easily put together in about a half hour. I like that the feet keep it up off the ground.

The house itself seems alright. I can’t see any issues with it but for some reason- my cat hates it. Refuses to go inside. It does seem to be waterproof as I’ve tried to add things to make her like it. It would be a good value for the money if she used it, it’s definitely sturdy and was easy to put together. Perfect size for one cat. I think I just have to call this one a loss, I don’t understand why- but my cat just doesn’t like something about it.

This cat house arrived quickly & assembled easily using pieces that snap together and are held together with plastic screws. Some reviewers commented on the fact that it doesn’t seem super insulated, but once I plugged it up it seemed to warm rather nicely. My inside cat was very curious about it, going in & out. My outside cat who doesn’t like to get inside anything was in it when I last looked. I hope his sister may eventually join him, though she usually prefers another house. I bought the largest version , and it would be large enough for them to curl up together. I’m impressed with parts like the silicone plug around the hole for the cord. It seems very sturdy but I will have to report back on that after some time.

Over this last year we have been adopted by a small feral cat. We started to feed him when it snowed and we found out that a neighbor who had been feeding him had moved away.He’s actually quite friendly but not ready for indoor living quite yet.With weather getting cooler I realized that the previous temporary box & blankets would not be enough for another winter even on a covered deck.This looked like the best option available and comes with a heating pad. The side escape door also seems like a good idea too.Assembly was quick and simple. Unit is pretty water tight and stays comfortably warm inside even though the front entrance is only a clear plastic curtain but still provides protection from the wind.It took him a day or so to decide it was safe to go in but now he uses it all the time whether sleeping inside or lounging on the flat top.The heating pad is not adjustable for temperature but is comfortable to the touch and seems to keep the inside somewhere around 60-70F. Cat loves it.My only complaint is that it took a couple weeks to arrive even though it was within predicted delivery dates. We could have gotten one within a couple days but I’m glad we waited and got this one instead.

Very nice cathouse. Easy to put together and very sturdy. Heating pad works nicely. Would definitely recommend this house.

I had this shelter assembled in about ten minutes. Very easy to put together. The pad is warm to the touch. I'm writing this in mid-December and I had one of my cats escape in early November. It's a cold Canadian winter and she has been at least coming to it to eat food which I've placed inside. Not sure if she's been staying in it at all. Someone else mentioned in a review that it may not stay warm inside in very cold conditions and he might insulate it further. Probably not a bad idea and I may try it. For now, I put some towels and a tarp over it. I found this item to be well made and sturdy. Good value. I hope to have my kitty back indoors soon!

Amazing product. Very well designed, spacious and easy to assemble. I was missing some of the plastic screws, but I contacted the company directly via the email address included in the packaging and they mailed me what I was missing right away. The heating pad does not have a timer on it. It heats when plugged in (which is fine by me). Overall, I’m very pleased with my purchase and highly recommend this product.

Not insulated unless you count 'AIR' as insulation in the panels. I will add Styrofoam rigid insulation and THIS will insulate it. Well constructed and easy to assemble but I wish the top was on a hinge for easier inside access.

Love itOmg I love it . Just put it together and it was easy and solid . I have a Caterie and some Ferrell outside . Breaks my heart to see them out in the cold winter . Now tomoro one of then will have a safe dry comfortable shelter . Great for the col Quebec winters . Thx Louise Ruiz

This is the second cat house we have purchased. They are very well made and should last.It is very easy to assemble and will be rain proof.It's not that big but should be sufficient for one cat.The heated pad works well.Because we live in northern Manitoba we added 1/2 inch Styrofoam panels cut to fit the interior.We also put a panel on the floor, inside and outside.This is located ina carport away from the elements .I put a bit of catnip inside to peak their interest. It seemed to work for the first cat house and we now have a feral who has taken up residency.It is well worth the money.
