I bought this hard case carry-on and backpack for a 10-day trip to Japan, and I have to say, they held up impressively well through multiple airports, train transfers, and long days of travel. The hard shell is not only sleek and fashionable. I got quite a few compliments on the color and design, but it also protected everything inside with no issues. I was able to fit all my essentials for the trip and on the return leg, it had enough space to hold a surprising number of souvenirs without feeling overstuffed.The zippers feel strong, and the internal compartments kept everything organized, which made packing and unpacking much less stressful. It also fits easily in overhead compartments, even on smaller international flights.That said, there are a couple of small drawbacks. The wheels are functional but feel a bit lower quality compared to the rest of the suitcase. On smooth surfaces, they roll fine, but I noticed some wobbling on uneven ground. The extendable handle also feels a bit flimsy — it hasn’t broken, but I did find myself being extra careful when pulling the luggage for longer stretches, especially when it was fully loaded.The backpack was large and struggled to fit fully under the seat in front of me on an economy United flight. Good thing I packed that light as well otherwise I would have been asked to check it. It can open all the way around like a suitcase and has a million pockets. I was very pleased with the bag. I even carried it around Tokyo, while holding all of my friend's things each day.Overall, though, I’m very happy with this purchase. It’s a great-looking case that gets the job done for international travel, especially if you’re looking for something durable and stylish without spending a fortune. Just be mindful of the wheels and handle, and you should be good to go!

BUYER BEWARE!If I could give zero stars I would. I purchased this luggage earlier this year. It was used primarily as a carry-on for 7 trips. I noticed by the 4th trip that it was difficult to roll over carpet and bumps after getting off the plane. By the 7th trip, while I was rolling to my gate I felt a bump and heard a snap. The wheel fell off. The plastic was destroyed so it could not be repaired. I had to walk to the gate with this faulty, jacked up carry-on.I let the manufacturer know. It took them 24 days to respond. They only said “We have warranty” and then asked “What happened?”Then, they went silent. That was 2 weeks ago. I will NOT be buying anymore Amazon luggage. Amazon was NOT helpful either holding their seller accountable or absorbing the cost and refunding my money.Better off buying from a store that has a better return policy and stands by their product. Not these shady overseas vendors who sell an item and then do NOTHING to honor the quality or product defects.UPDATE: Do NOT BUY FROM THEM! This company lied and said they would send a replacement over 30 days ago. No tracking, no shipping confirmation, no other communication and I have received no new bag. Amazon has been contacted and has done CRAP to hold this vendor responsible.

I was really worried about this set because of the price but I am in love with it. Very high quality, especially for the price. They look like they are way more expensive than they are. They are very sturdy as well. The zippers were all smooth, and I especially liked the locking function on the hard shell case. Backpack is wonderful too, and very comfortable to wear. They fit an insane amount of items. We are going on a short 3 day trip this month and we plan to pack everything for our three person family in these and I bet there will still be extra room. Rolls great even on carpet. Highly recommend!
