I bought these to replace the cheap rollers that came with our nursery dresser and they work perfectly. The drawers now pull all the way out so I can actually get to what’s in them, they glide smoothly, feel much more stable, and are way quieter than the originals. I’m 8 months pregnant, but no stranger to DIY projects, and I was able to install everything myself in a few hours with minimal challenges. The hardware is a decent quality, so I didn’t have any issues with the screws breaking or heads stripping out. I would definitely buy these again!

Well made. The soft close is a necessity. Getting this properly installed needs some care.

I just installed 4 sets of these. First of all, measure, measure, measure your drawer openings. Especially the width on the front, middle and back. If this is off, make it right. Use shims or whatever you need to make it straight, square, level, etc. This will make the slide installation go smooth. Don't forget the 1/2" needed on both sides for the slides. As for the screws, I tried using the supplied screws, but the heads came right off. And they are the wrong type and too long (5/8"). They are flat head that could cause the slides to shift when screwing in. Go to Home Depot and get a pack of Everbilt #8 1/2" pan head Phillips zinc. Cheaper than the stainless. Good Luck

I had purchased a random brand of slides and realized afterwards that these would make install easier, so I bought them and they worked well. I will definitely use these on all roller bearing drawer slides moving forward.

For what you pay, I like these drawer slides. I use them in the shop as well as the kitchen. Haven't had a failure or problem yet. Install was pretty straight forward (if you've installed them before), and the consistency of the sliding mechanism is smooth. I haven't had any issues with the soft-close feature. They are a little bit thinner than other slides I have used, but some careful measuring before cutting took care of it. Since I didn't use these drawer slides as replacement slides, I can't really speak as to how they would measure up against other slides. I only know that I like them, they stop my children from harshly slamming the drawers back into the cabinets, and they are smooth. Works for me.

I'm using these to replace kitchen cabinet slides which were new in 1997. Those didn't have soft close nor do they have full extension. The great thing about these is they work in those older cabinets and have full open. I previously used Blum under drawer slides which are fabulous but these 1997 cabinet drawers have zero clearance between the side bottoms and the frame. The LONTAN are the best option I could find.As other reviewers state, the instructions leave a lot to your imagination. After installing 3 drawers, I started to get the hang of it. The Jig's you can buy online don't help. I found that in cabinetry, the tolerances are VERY high (if you care about how things look). So, the Jig's leave too much slop to be useful.But my main reason for 3 stars is the screws. LONTAN recommends using a Pozidriv #2 screwdriver. After stripping and breaking several screws using a standard phillips #2, bought the PZ2 bits but they were much worse at stripping the screws. The metal of these screws is really cheap and soft.My cabinet frames are maple and so they are very hard. Even tho I pre-drill, I often break the head off. I've even tried cranking down the settings on my Ryobi battery powered drill to around 8 or 7 but then I have trouble getting the screw to fully seat. Breaking heads is bad - especially in the one hole which mounts the front to the frame. Once you break the screw head off there, you can no longer use that hole. There are two holes above/below that but they are much harder to use and if the screw is not 100% flat, it scrapes on the metal.Additionally, there's a plastic piece that the drawer feeds into on the end of the slide. For some reason, they have additional plastic sticking out exactly where you need to put the screw! You can "open" the slider and find another hole but this is awkward and doesn't allow you to see that you have the 1/8" clearance to the front face of the frame.As others have stated, the initial pull you need to get the drawer open takes some getting used to. My drawers have a single round knob in the middle so it's pretty easy for your hand to slip off the knob as you try to open the drawer.Finally, the main reason to have soft close is so the drawers all close. These slides need a little push to get the soft close mechanism to engage when the drawer is about 2" from the closed position. It's not unusual for the drawer to stop at the 2" and stay open. I wonder if I've made things go from drawers which are typically only 1/4" open to drawers that are 2" open!Honestly, if the screws were not complete crap, I would probably be OK with these other limitations. And if I didn't have Blum under drawer slides installed in other places, I wouldn't know that the soft close can be so much better.

Making a new kitchen cabinet, and used these slides for pots and pans drawers. They were as easy to install as any of these types of sliders are (which is to say, a little fiddle, but not too hard) and can support the weight of the full drawer (which is quite heavy with all the pots I have!). They are true full extension and the soft close works well.Two things I particularly like, and haven’t seen (or at least noticed) on other similar sliders I’ve installed: First, when you remove the drawer, the inner portion of these remains protruding about 2 inches, which actually makes re-inserting the drawer easier. And secondly, I adjusted my plans after initial install. I was going to have inset drawers (with doors overlaying them), so aligned the sliders with the inside of my face frame. However, once I got the cabinet in place, I then decided to get rid of the doors and have overlay drawer fronts instead. I unscrewed the sliders from the inside of the cabinet, moved them forward to the front of the face frame (about 0.75”) and 2 out the 3 original screw holes were still aligned with holes in the slides! This made re-installation a breeze. The drawer itself slid right back in with no modifications needed to that part of the slider. I don’t know if this is a feature of these guys, or I just got lucky, but I love them for it anyway!
