Works great in my camper. So much more room. I do recommend a very thin shower curtain liner as the thicker ones are too stiff and bulky to work well with the expandable rod.

My 6 foot 4 son lives in an RV when away to school. The one bathroom is very small but this awesome little rod allows him the best the bathroom has to offer. Provides more room when in the shower and when not, tucks away giving better access to sink and toilet. Highly recommend for any RV owner! Super easy to install, goes up in seconds!

We live in a 5th wheel and our shower is in hallway going to bathroom and bedroom. Small shower area and my husband is 6 ft tall so he was cramped. When I was looking for a curved rod to give him more room I realized that it would mean the hallway would be even more tight than it already was. Then I saw this one. Extends while you're in the shower for more elbow room but doesn't take up space in hallway when not in use. Went up easy and works great! These things should come standard in RV's. Perfect for any small bathroom. Love it!

I installed this in my RV shower/bath combination. I am a tall person who lives in my RV full time. I have always struggled using the shower because the shower curtain would open when I turned around and it was always in contact with me due to the width of the tub/shower combination. This has been a wonderful addition to my life. It is small pleasures that bring convenience and comfort in an RV life. I installed this yesterday. The wall mounts did not match up with the support wood behind the wall, but I had the bottom screw hit the wood and installed a wall anchor for the top. I added the strength of running caulk around the mount to help support the weight of placing my towel over the bar. I let it set overnight to ensure it was ready for a wet towel. I have already ordered a replacement shower curtain as mine is not quite wide enough. The adjustment for moving it from extended out to moving it in is simple and easy to use. Wow what a nice addition.

I just got this Rv and had problem taking a shower.I have s small bath and when using the shower i realy felt the space was narrow.By changing the shower rod i have 8 inches more shoulder space.This changes the shower space completely.I would have given 5 stars but the brackets that attach both ends i longer that an ordinary bracket.In a RV there are not many place you can put a screw so i used the upper screw but the lower screw was in the panelling.Since i am on vacation now it will have to stay that way but when i get home i must find a way to get that bottom screw solid

Very smooth function to push the bar in for storage or out for showering. Very happy with this purchase!

If you want a really great way to increase your shower stall space and also want to remove heavy glass doors that add dead weight to a RV, then this is the trick. It is a very simple, easy design. Simply expand inwards for travel or outwards to shower. Her are some installation tips: 1. Make sure you measure the "expanded out" distance from the top rod to the bottom of the shower pan. Make sure the distance between the two fits the shower curtain you select (i.e. 72" tall). 2. If you have to shorten the center rod due to a narrower shower stall, there are instructions to do so. However, if you use a tubing cutter (like in the directions), you will need a pipe reamer or similar to piece the rods back together again. The tubing cutter will "crimp" the cut rod inwards, narrowing the inner pipe diameter. This "crimp" will have to be expanded for the pieces to fit again. I couldn't find my pipe reamer from years ago, so I took a 1/2" drill bit and reamed with that, apply pressure outward in a circular motion. The metal isn't too thick and it worked like a champ.

This item is FANTASTIC! It's made showing in the RV...well, enjoyable without uttering a string of four letter expletives aimed at the sticking shower curtain during your shower time! It installed easy, it's sturdy, it creates usable elbow room, and frankly it's a great idea that is super functional. Love it! Folds into the shower when not in use, and actually creates a bit more room in the toilet area. A little pricey, but it's made of metal, not plastic. Worth the price!

The rod works just as advertised and it really does make more room in our travel trailer's shower. The rod works great. I Recommend plastic shower curtain rings on the white rod. We love that it is sturdy and well made, and folds out of the way when not needed. In the bathroom of a camper, space is a commodity. This will not let you down!

We have an older motorhome, a 1997 Bounder and both my husband and I found that when we showered, the shower curtain was always getting in the way and would cling when we were trying to shower. This shower rod for RVs is a game changer. When it arrived my husband was a bit cross as I didn’t measure properly before ordering and our shower stall was a bit smaller than the recommended width. After reading one of the reviews my husband was able to shorten the centre rod a bit and now it fits perfectly. It expands and contracts as required. The shower curtain stays out at the top but in at the bottom to ensure no water spills when you are showering. I would recommend this to anyone who has a small shower/tub in their RV. I don’t think the pictures does it justice as I couldn’t get far enough away in the small bathroom space.

Very sturdy. Probably more than it needs to be. They should offer an aluminum version, more corrosion resistant. Also a guide for shortening up the middle section to fit spaces smaller than 35". I shortened to fit a 32" opening, probably could have left an inch longer. Happy with the extra space!
