Worth The WaitThese Gllysion binoculars were my Christmas present; they were out of stock so I waited. I was impressed by their many positive reviews.I am glad I waited. These binoculars are fabulous! They are sturdy, well built, and they boast a high quality lens. The best part for me is they are extremely light weight. This enables me to hold them steady while viewing whales from my Lanai. I was able to hold them steady for over 15 minutes vs less than 1 minute with my other pair. The quality lens gave me a clear, bright colored, vivid, 3-D picture. It seemed like I was on the whale watching boat. The image was wider and clearer than with the other pair.Because of their light weight I took them on my morning walk and viewed a Night Heron as if he were by my side.My husband has a pair of 12x42 binoculars and I thought they were perfect until I got this pair. These are lighter, the image larger, clearer and colors more vivid.These quality binoculars are easy to use and light to carry. I highly recommend them.

I broke my previous pair and was using really old ones. I bought a pair a few years back that are 16 x 50 and couldn't keep them steady enough (do your research) . These are great, 12 x 50 is perfect! I like that I can focus in on birds on a power line a distance away and very easily focus on my small dog lying in the corner of the yard with very little effort. We live on a Resaca on 3 acres and these have been great for watching birds, alligators, and other critters in our yard. Works great when using in full sun and just as well when it's cloudy or dusk. The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is you have to be an octopus in order to use the phone adapter, maybe I will get better at it eventually.

Five Stars or as I like to say two thumbs up on these 12x50 binoculars. Don’t let the fact that they are made by some lesser known brand hold you back from purchasing them. They’re well worth the price.I like to know how binoculars are going to perform both for distance viewing and close range. So, I’ve provided two pictures to back up my review. I used the included cell phone adapter with my iPhone X to take these pics.The first is a herd of Elk from 1.47 miles away (according to Google Earth). As you can see from the pic, you can easily find and identify how many Elk are there. If you wanted to count tines or gross score a bull then you would want to use a spotting scope. The fact that these binoculars show this much clarity at this distance is a testament to their quality.The second picture provides a close-up perspective of a tree about 50 feet away. The details of the limbs makes me look forward to using these binoculars for bird watching…I can imagine a Mountain Blue Bird perched on one of limbs! One of my favorite ways to evaluate binoculars is to look at limbs and see how distinct they appear. High quality glass will provide sharp edges and clear details as these do. Also, notice how clear the limbs are but the background is blurred…this shows how effective the focus is at helping you define what your looking at.One final point that I want to mention is that these binoculars have a screw mount that enables you to affix them to a tripod or window mount. This is very helpful for extended viewing sessions.

These binoculars are of a very good quality. The packaging is excellent. They come with an excellent case. The feel is quality from the structure to the lenses. They have a nice solid feel and a nice weight. I went with the 12x50. As some say, they are a bit more difficult to lock onto what you are looking at through them because of shaking hands etc. due to the magnification. The focus was easy to obtain with the normal adjustment. I would recommend setting them on something that is stationary for looking through them which will help a lot. Using a tripod would be the best. They come with the holder for your phone. I have an iPhone 12 the largest size. The pictures tell all. I was using the chair back to stabilize the binoculars. I was 12 feet away from the electric oven and the clock on it. I have given 2 pictures at 1X on the iPhone. Then I did two pics at 2.5X zoom. They are using the camera with and without the binoculars using the camera holder. I am very impressed with the quality of the lenses and the magnification. If you are looking for these types of capabilities then I would recommend these binoculars.

This is a good binocular! It’s not too heavy, it’s super easy to adjust, and it’s super clear.I brought it with me while I were crabbing with friends last week. It worked so well. We used it to see if any boats got crabs so we could decide where to set up our pots. We saw crabs clearly! It’s kind of surprising that the performance was really stable even though we were on a wabbling boat. My friends liked it too. I also used it to track sea lions and seagulls, it’s so funny to observe animals if you see them close enough! It’s kind of like you create some new entertainments while you were waiting for your crabs.The phone holder is quite a thoughtful design. I took pictures of my cat, it works so well. It’s easy to just put your phone there and you could share pictures with anybody.Would love to recommend this to anyone who loves nature, animals, and outdoorsy things. You will get so much fun with it.

Used for nature watching while on a trip. Great binoculars for the price. Clear and crisp image, easy to adjust.12 power not a great deal stronger than 10 but that's to be expected.
