Incredibly soft, warm and not heavy. Heats up and stays comfortably warm with a variety of settings. A pleasure to snuggle under with the cats. Seems well made and I have no worries that kitties will hurt the blanket. I bought it for myself a couple of years back and bought the same exact one recently as a gift for my sister. I bought the rust color which is actually a pleasant mix of pinky flesh color and a neutral white beige. Not flashy but very pleasant. Since I don't tuck blankets in, I bought the full sized one both times for queen sized beds. Completely covers bed and is not as bulky if I want to use it as a throw for TV watching in the living room. Plenty big to keep 2+ bodies warm. Finally, I bought this brand because it's made by Sealy, a company from whom I've purchased many beds over the years and have always found their products well made and reliable. For the most recent purchase, the full sized version was $20 cheaper than the twin sized (on sale).

Have only used this blanket a couple of nights but love it! I bought it to replace a queen size electric blanket of off brand that died after 2 years and wanted one with one control. Decided a full size would be fine since it is just me and the dogs. I just need the top of the bed warm and my feet and legs mostly. I was very surprised that the full is larger by several inches wide and long. It drapes over the side of the bed and comes up and covers my shoulders! It is very soft and comfy and worth every penny. Also, the control does not light up the whole room at night and super easy to use. The color is perfect and the heat setting at 5 is a bit warmer than the old one. Cannot comment on durability yet. The manual says to keep animals off. I hope that means directly on the blanket. Mine is between sheet and quilted spread.

This is by far the best electric blanket we have ever owned in all our 80 plus years. It's soft and fluffy feel is great but the warmth is fantastic. Love the preheat feature so if you turn it on 10 mins before getting in bed it is nice and cozy then it reverts to your desired setting. I have mine on #2 for heat and it's great for me as I have poor circulation in my lower legs and feet so my wife doesn't scream because of my ice cube feet. Would buy again in a heartbeat.

It's nice and soft, but may not get hot enough for some. I used to have a heated blanket that was quite heavy and got hot, like a heating pad would, so I expected something similar.When I got the package the box said "warming blanket" instead of "heating blanket" which concerned me a little because the Amazon title said heated. And I'll say that we keep it on it's highest setting permanently, and it's definitely not heating pad warm.However it is nice and my wife loves it. It's extremely soft and lightweight. The cord is very long, maybe too long. We got twin size just for snuggling on the couch and it's more than large enough. It does keep your warm just not very warm.

I have had heating blankets through the years and many of them were Serta. This heating blanket is the most softest and just beautiful! I used it last night because it got chilly in here and I put it on number 3 It was just warm enough to take the chill off. You really can not feel the wires in this blanket. I just love it. I love the color because I bought the blue ,so far working great. I bought the full size I use it on my queen size bed because it’s just me and my dog. I hated to get up this morning. I was so cozy. This blanket does not shed. Wires are long enough to reach outlets. I like it because it doesn’t stay lit . You set it at a temperature you like. If you have to increase the temperature at night, just push the button it’ll light up and put it up to whatever number you want. I would buy this blanket again. I have had other serta blankets that just keep on going in fact, I have two more here that are twin size I’m going to send them up to my daughter. They are the best. I think a lot of the problems that maybe people have with the electric blankets it’s that you wash them too much and that can break the system down. I do not do that. I just take good care of them and they will last for a long time. I also have a Serta throw that I use when it is cold in my living room. I will say one thing heating blankets are to keep you warm and cozy. Some people complaining they don’t get hot enough. I personally would not want to sleep under anything really hot like a heating pad it would be. This blanket is a very soft heat and I only had it on number 3. With my other Serta blankets on a real cold night, I used to put it on number 5. Which gave me plenty of heat. I am 83 and electric blankets really do help to take some aches and pains away at night makes me sleep better. This is only my opinion.

Good quality, good weight and cozy soft fabric. Well worth the money. My husband is recovering from pneumonia and he loves this throw. Keeps him warm while napping.

Outstanding Blanket!Very warm even without using the electric heat controller.Controller works well and is simple to operate and display is easy to see.The feel of the Sherpa is very soft and comfortable and with heat on it is super warm. Very happy with the purchases.

Absolutely LOVE this so much that I’ve bought extra to have on stand-by so I will always have one. It is beautiful, soft, and the cord is made such that it stays plugged into the throw until you decide to take it off - no more waking up cold and finding my throw has come unplugged. Also love the option to choose how many hours it will stay on, I use the ten-hour option because I sleep with it (most other throws are 3 hr auto off - here YOU choose 2, 4, 8 or 10 hours till auto shutoff). I keep mine on heat setting 4 which is perfect for me - it’s a gentle consistent heat that is neither too hot nor too cold and wraps me in a gentle even warmth all night long. My dogs love it, especially my older dog with arthritis. I have washed several times on gentle cycle then dried maybe 5 minutes in the dryer then hung it over chairs backs to finish drying and it still works perfectly. I can’t recommend it enough!!!! ❤️

This throw does not disappoint.We live in a century house, with no insulation in the walls and drafts in every corner. Our basement is unfinished so the floors on the first and second stories are quite cold in winter. It is very expensive to heat during the winter so we have decided to use supplementary heating methods (heat where you’re at): space heaters, heated blankets, etc. This Sealy blanket is an excellent quality product which produces good consistent even warmth without overheating. It doesn’t get hot like a heating pad (clearly stated in the Users’ manual) but produces a good warming effect (even for me and I really feel the cold). It is an excellent size and the heating coils are well spread out. The blanket material is quality plush and cozy on both sides, meaning you can barely feel the coils, not like cheaper blankets. The power consumption is rated at 100W so it is energy efficient. The cord is a good length and there is a designated off switch, not just buttons for heat and time. I would definitely recommend. The combination of soft texture and even heat is everything I wanted.

I love heated blankets and this will probably be the 10th one I’ve bought.Pros-nice size for a throw-long cord-love that it can go up to 10 hours for auto shut off-extremely soft-you can’t feel the coils like in manyCons-not very warm. I would say it’s similar to a 1-2 on a regular heated blanket. Level 6 is barely warmI’ll def keep this because underneath a bigger blanket it will definitely keep me warm but if you like a really warm blanket this isn’t the one.Edit: I slept with this one night and changed my review from 4/5 to 5/5. The warmth is actually perfect for a whole night and I slept great. It’s probably my fav heated blanket to date.

I’m obsessed with heated blankets but never find that they last so I’ve tried a few now lol. This one is the coziest but not the warmest. I think it looks great, feels great but the max temperature is like a gentle heat. Makes you cozy but it does not get hot.

WHAT??? OMG!!! GET THIS BLANKET.I am a MASSIVE review writer and reader... what I've read in reviews does NOT match what this blanket feels like. I don't understand how people find it not hot enough... IT IS and it's amazing. SUPER soft, SUPER warm and worth every penny. The quality is unparalleled and we slept like babies being snuggled by lambs or sheep or whatever, all I know is that the blanket is so soft it's almost impossible to get out of bed. Turn the heat on and it IS IMPOSSIBLE to get out of bed. We bought a queen size and will be buying a throw for the living room. And the only truth to the reviews I've read is that you CANNOT feel the coils. If you want perfection in a heated blanket this is it!!!

I am now the best mother-in-law! Gave this as a Christmas gift to my son-in-law, who is always cold, and he loves it! Just the right size, plugs into the outlet beside his man chair and is so warm and soft.
