A beautiful Christmas decoration which looks and so far functions great. Was very well packaged and arrived in perfect condition. A little pricey, but glad we made the purchase!

Delivered when expected. Packaging was more than sufficient to protect the product- thick styrofoam around it inside a thick cardboard shipping box.The actual clock is a battery powered mechanism that runs quiet - the area to adjust the clock time is a bit small for big fingers but not too frustrating to use. The rest of the clock is powered by electricity, easy to connect on the back. Also on the back is a place to adjust the volume for the music, on-off switch for the cuckoo, and the on-off switch for the lights snd trainThe material of the piece is plastic but doesn't look like plastic. The design and paint of each object is beautiful. The lights are very cheery. I turned the music volume low so when the cuckoo chimed, it was a bit loud.I received it a couple of days before Christmas so I just put it in my home office until I pack up all my Christmas stuff. It was so nice to have it bedide me, adding a festival touch to the room with the beautiful display and enjoyable music.

We love the clock the only thing is the picture shows christmas lights around the top ares only has to windows that light up we love chime of the Nutcracker sounds great craftsmen ship.Gregg & Melissa Mullen

I hope customer service is reading the reviews. Last year's model (Christmas Village Scene with a Train) had a volume control near the on/off switch on the back. It is very similar in size, shape and features as the one we chose and the price is the same. This year's model (Christmas Scene with Animated Tree) only has a switch for lights or lights plus music but no volume control that I can see. The music is very loud! Am I missing something? Why would you remove such an important feature? Other than this annoyance, it is very beautiful and we love the display. I guess there's one more thing, it is not a true cuckoo clock. It cuckoos 5 times every hour, not the actual time of the hour.

Update 12/23/2025: The Christmas Village Cuckoo Clock Animated Santa & Tree Scene item suddenly stopped working. It wouldn't power on, nothing. I tried different outlets, to no avail. Returned for replacement. Removed one star; now at 2 stars. Very disappointed, especially for a product at this price point. What makes it sadder is that it's a really beautiful item.Let's see if the Christmas Cuckoo Clock with Animated Christmas Village Scene with Animated Train holds up better.Original review (11/23/2025):For the MOMENTS IN TIME Christmas Village Cuckoo Clock Animated Santa & Tree Scene----Let's see - here are the issues:1. The clock runs off a battery instead of the clock being able to run off the power supply (not a deal-breaker but also not ideal).2. When the music is turned off, the lights still flash in an annoying way - with no rhyme or reason - until you realize that they're flashing to the tune of the music that's just simply muted.3. This doesn't pertain to me, but there are many people with epilepsy who can have their epilepsy triggered by flashing lights. So, not having an option to make them steady is far from ideal for them.4. Related to #3, there's no way to just have the lights stay on, steady.5. There's no volume control. That's very annoying.6. The cuckoo always cuckoos 5 times instead of the number of the hour; e.g., 1 cuckoo for 1 o'clock, 8 cuckoos for 8 o'clock, etc. This one is a huge negative!For the Pluses:1. It's really nice-looking.2. The lights are vibrant but not overwhelming (except for the whole phantom annoying flashing when the music is muted).3. The detail of everything on it is really good!For the MOMENTS IN TIME 17.1” Christmas Cuckoo Clock with Animated Christmas Village Scene with Animated Train----Here are the issues:1. Since these are LED, a multi-color/white light option should be available.For the Pluses:Everything else about this one is great, I love this one! Also, the lights don't flash in an annoying way whether or not music is playing. So, this is safe for epileptics.Since Amazon doesn't let you review each one separately, I gave this 3 Stars out of 5 total: 2 Stars for the one with the Animated Santa & Tree Scene, and 4 stars for the Village Scene with Animated Train.

I love this so much

I bought this item in Oct so just used it a few weeks in December 2023. When I took it out this year 2024 it would not keep correct time. There is no way to get to the hands to adjust the time. I am very upset that I spent this much money on something that is beautiful but doesn’t work. And no customer service, also warranty expired.
