I recently purchased a new house and at 59 caught the DIY bug, so I have been tackling projects around the house. With contractor costs so high, learning from YouTube and doing it myself is both rewarding and cost effective. This product worked exactly as expected, was reasonably priced, and became an essential part of my DIY process. Highly recommend.

My old corner sander stopped working so I bought this one as a replacement. I appreciate the included attachments and sandpaper. I had no trouble changing attachments and find the sander easy to use. It doesn't trap all of the sanding dust, but I'm not sure any sander can do that.

This SKIL detail sander is a great little machine for small projects. The quality and sturdiness of the tool are immediately apparent. It’s reasonably lightweight and very easy to handle, making the overall ease of use excellent, especially in tight corners. It includes several functions with the additional attachments, making it versatile. While it’s certainly not quiet, the loudness is manageable for a power tool. The micro-filter dust box makes clean up much simpler, capturing most of the fine dust. Assembly is just clipping the attachments on, so it’s easy. For the price, it’s excellent value for money and saves a surprising amount of time compared to hand sanding.

12/2025: I got this sander to replace one of my dad's old sanders that was just too noisy for me to use anymore. The Skil sander does sand very well. The sanding pads are so easy to attach. It's quiet. I really like these aspects of it.The main problem is that, even with the filter, there is SO MUCH DUST. Attaching a vacuum hose doesn't seem to help much either. Although I took a couple of pics of the sander after < 5 minutes of use, I didn't take pictures of the dust that settled over my entire kitchen. I even tried draping several layers of fine cheesecloth over the sander and sanding area to try to catch the flying dust. It couldn't contain it, either. Has anyone successfully addressed this problem? Is there something I'm missing?1/2026: I finally got around to one other very small sanding project I wanted to do before I decided whether to keep the sander. Again, the sander did a great job. The dust, after less than 1 minute total sanding time, however, is more than I'm prepared to deal with in future interior projects. This may be a great sander when you have the option to work outside but, for me, not with the time or takes to clean everything up afterward.

Bought to sand a antique cabinet and it did a great job. It was easy to control and it's small size was able to fit in corners. Great product!

The packing was not good .like it was an already opened box with packing tape raped around it . Definetely opend box . The machine broke after first use .not a good sander . The base vibrator attchment part broke down after first use .not recomended .Sound was loud .

This is a nice little sander easy to hold for someone like myself with arthritis and nerve damage. It has good power and having the dust cup to collect the dust saves alot of clean up just check the cup regularly it fills quickly. Would definitely purchase again.
