I honestly didn’t expect to be this impressed, but these speakers absolutely deliver. I used them indoors, connected to FL & FR in my 7.2 home theater, powered by a Denon AVR-889.The first thing that stood out is the bass. While some users said there was no bass at all this was not the case for me whatsoever, possibly a mismatch in the 4ohm speakers and the amp they were using or maybe phase wasnt in alignment. I wouldn't call it earth shattering but it’s seriously powerful for a 4" speaker, it’s tight, punchy, and adds real depth without overpowering the rest of the sound; seems to begin rolling off around 50hz. Sub-bass such as 30hz is audible and does give some thump, but the speaker has more mechanical noise and distortion in these frequencies which is to be expected for this price range, definitely benefits from a subwoofer with a crossover frequency of 80hz-100hz to take load off the speakers; but I wouldn’t say you necessarily need a subwoofer with these unless you really care about super clean powerful deep bass.The mids and highs are incredibly clear and smooth, giving vocals and instruments a very natural, lifelike quality. Nothing sounds harsh or fatiguing, even at higher volumes.The overall sound signature seems to be relatively balanced, with a small boost to vocals/mids which I personally find quite pleasant.The build quality and design is another big win. These speakers feel solid and well-made, with a satisfying weight that gives confidence they’ll last outdoors. The included mounting brackets are excellent, they are sturdy, easy to install, and allow for very good positioning flexibility. The speakers themselves also look great, only downside is that the grils can't be removed.Also, the RCA connection is super convenient, making setup or disassembly quick and hassle-free compared to some other wired options. It is however a double edged sword because this makes it slightly harder to replace the cable if you need a larger length or higher AWG.Whether you're using them on a patio, in a garage, or even indoors like me, they perform way above expectations for the price.Overall: 8/10 for valueFantastic performance, great design, and definitely worth it.

The Inwa 4 inch pair features a compact, weather resistant design that fits into most environments without looking out of place. The materials feel durable, built to handle changing conditions. The included mounting brackets make placement flexible. They look simple but capable.Setting them up takes a bit of effort, especially when running wires and connecting to an amplifier. The brackets allow for easy positioning once installed, which helps with sound direction. The process is not difficult, but it does take some time. Once in place, they stay secure. It feels practical.Performance is steady, with clear mids and highs that work well for music and general audio. The 40W output per speaker provides enough volume for patios, pools, or garages. The sound is not overly powerful, but it fills smaller areas nicely. Distortion stays low at reasonable levels. It feels dependable.There are some trade offs. Bass response is limited compared to larger speakers. Being passive means extra equipment is required, such as an amplifier. They are best suited for smaller to medium spaces rather than large open areas. Still, they deliver solid results.They fit well in setups where simplicity and durability matter more than extreme performance. The sound quality is good enough for everyday use. They make outdoor listening more enjoyable without adding complexity. Great value for the bucks! :D

I installed these Inwa 4-inch passive speakers in my garage and on the patio, and they have been solid performers in both spots once paired with a proper amplifier. The mids and highs are clear and smooth for a compact outdoor speaker, and while the bass is limited, as you would expect from a 4-inch driver, they produce a surprisingly punchy low end for the size when the amp is dialed in well. The weatherproof build feels solid, and the included heavy-duty wall brackets make mounting straightforward with good flexibility for aiming the drivers where you want them. Keep in mind these are passive speakers so you do need a dedicated amplifier to drive them, and how much low end you get will depend a lot on both your amp and placement. At around 73 dollars for the pair, they are a reasonable value for a weather-resistant wired outdoor setup, though anyone expecting deep bass from a 4-inch cabinet without a subwoofer will want to calibrate their expectations first.

These speakers look nice and the RCA style plug on them makes the outdoor connection much easier and more weather resistant. The brackets provide a ton of mounting flexibility but only rotate on one axis. The cord entry into the speaker is sealed nicely with a rubber plug. The grilles are pretty thick metal so unlikely to get bent as easily as some other outdoor speakers I own. The title said these were a light black, but they are true black with a glossy black metal mesh grille which is permanently fixed in place. The roughly 15 foot speaker wires included are a very thin 20AWG but at least the ends looked pre-tinned for the connection to the amplifier (RCA to speaker end).The worst part of these are the sound - while the mids and high are clear, there is ABSOLUTELY NO LOW END on these!! together these speakers sound as bad as any portable battery power set I have so given these are wired they don't provide much value there so they will not be going on my soffit. I thought with a 4" they would do an okay job with some bass but there is absolutely no bass!! the 3" bookshelf speakers I have sound WAY better than these. Very disappointing given the price of these!!

These speakers sound great!I have them paired with one of those common class D stereo amplifiers that are sold under dozens of different brands and model numbers. I mounted them in my basement ceiling with zip ties since I swap things around anlot and didn't want anything too permanent.The speaker connection is an RCA jack on a cord. These are not exactly waterproof as they sit, but are easy to cover with glue lined heat shrink for a permanent connection, or self amalgamating tape for a semi-permanent seal. Since I'm using them inside, it makes no difference anyway.The included speaker wire seems to work OK, but might be on the thin side if you're really pushing these speakers to the limit, or if you have a long cable run. For my use case, it is fine. The $73ish price is in line with other similar speakers.

These powered (passive‑speaker) versions are very compact and weather‑resistant, so they hold up nicely by the pool, and the included wall‑mount brackets make it easy to position them where you want sound.The key thing to know is that they require a small external amplifier—about a $40 add‑on—but once you wire that in, they work beautifully with Bluetooth, aux cord, and even live radio, giving you a flexible little outdoor sound system. I have the powered version from Inwa and I will mention that you shouldn't expect deep subwoofer‑style bass. For the price and how easy they are to mount, they’re a solid choice if you’re okay adding that small amp and running one short cable to it.
