Just received this massager and it is perfect for my mom she’s admiring how efficient the pressure is and the circulating motion that it has, the heat is light though I wish that it was more heating on that high mode, my mom has many back issues years ago and this is easing her pain away very grateful🥰

I picked this massager mainly for my neck and upper back, and overall it’s been a solid purchase, though it took a little adjusting to get it right along with the right amount of good pressure. The larger number of massage nodes makes a noticeable difference as it feels more spread out and less pokey than cheaper massagers I’ve tried before. Once I figured out the best height setting for my neck, it actually lined up pretty well and felt more like hands kneading than hard pressure points. The heat is gentle but relaxing, especially after a long day at a desk.That said, it’s not without issues as even on the lower intensity setting, it can feel a bit strong at first if you’re sensitive. The vibration feature is nice as well especially since it is optional. I like that it’s easy to move around and use on different parts of the body, not just the neck. Overall, it feels well thought out and effective for daily tension relief, just something that takes a bit of trial and error to get dialed in exactly how you like it.

I really wanted to like this, but the overall design ended up being more confusing than comfortable.The materials themselves seem decent enough, nothing obviously cheap or falling apart, but the design undermines the experience. It feels like a product that needed one more round of refinement before being released. Almost like they started with the pieces they already had access to rather than designing a product first and figuring out how to make it work well.There’s technically no assembly, but setup is where things start to fall apart. The documentation is minimal and unclear, which is more of a concern than usual for something like this where you want to use it properly and not hurt yourself. It wasn’t obvious which side was intended to face up or how it was supposed to be positioned for proper use. If it's truly reversible, then it is unique among all neck massagers that I've ever used. If it's not, I can tell you it's does not deliver a significantly different experience upside down as right side up. That doesn't seem like a great design.There’s very little meaningful adjustability. I tried multiple positions and orientations to get it to feel right, but none of them really worked. There’s also a flap that looks like it’s meant to either secure the unit against your back or add cushioning, but it’s too narrow and tends to shift out of place, which just adds to the frustration.This is ultimately where it misses. No matter how I positioned it, it never felt especially comfortable or relaxing. Instead of settling into it, I found myself constantly adjusting and second-guessing whether I was even using it correctly.These features may be present, but they’re hard to fully appreciate when the base experience isn’t comfortable. Without a stable and natural fit, it’s difficult to get consistent benefit from either function. The best feature was that it got warm, but I was too uncomfortable with the rubs to actually benefit from the heat.Noise wasn’t a major issue during use, but it also wasn’t quiet enough to stand out as a positive.At the end of the day, this feels like a product where the concept has potential, but the execution just didn’t come together. With clearer design choices and better guidance, it could be much more effective.Based on my experience, this lands at two stars, which is too bad because if it was designed better, it would be a really nice, portable product.

This Lanmun Back and Neck Shiatsu Massager is pretty good overall, especially for deep‑tissue pressure and general pain relief. The rotating nodes do a solid job, and once it’s in the right spot it feels great.The main drawback for me is that the heat only works when the massage is running, and because of the shape and size, it can be a little hard to position exactly where you want it. If you’re lying down or trying to target a very specific point, you might have to shift around a bit.When it’s in the right spot, though, it works really well, and the heat does enhance the massage. Just be aware it’s not adjustable heat on its own.Overall, it’s a nice, effective massager with one limitation, great for general use, but not perfect if you want heat without active massage or easier positioning.

This item is good for my back because I like a deep tissue massage. The rollers are hard and it may not be for someone that can't handle a "strong" hand. The heat takes a while to warm up but once it does, it's great. Takes a little bit to position it correctly for neck as advertised.

I'm doing a home renovation right now and my back and shoulders are getting lots of exercise these days, so lying down after a long day's work and having this massager to work out my knots has been so helpful. The massager thingies rotate and have different pressure points like knuckles. There's one particularly big knuckle and I brace myself for when that badboy comes around because it really digs in and breaks up the muscle knots! It's fabulous. 🤤 You can move around as needed on top of the massager, so you can get it right where you need it. I love it so much for my sore traps. 😅 It has literally put me to sleep for the past 5 nights! 😴 It times out after 15 minutes, which must be a good thing, because otherwise I would sleep all night with this thing on!! It also has a heat pad (which I can't really feel for some reason) and a vibration feature (which is very soporific!). I am so glad to have this thing. As a single mom with lots to do, getting a massage would never happen without this, and what a relief it has been! 🙏 Great product. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This has been really nice after a long, busy day at work my neck feels really tight a lot and this has been super helpful to unwind and relax. It helped with pain relief, and I like the heat option as well.
