Well made. Fairly comfortable right out of the box. It should be noted that the insoles are NOT removable. So, once they're worn out, I supposed one would have to see if they can be ripped out without ruining the shoe. Fortunately, there seems to be just enough room to wear my custom orthotics along with insoles but I'm hoping the canvas stretches out a bit more to my feet have a little more top/bottom breathing room.

1st pair of sketchers I've owned, they used to get made fun of in HS school(1995-1999), college(1999-2003) then while in usmc boot camp the 18yr olds even made fun of them(2005). I'm 45 now and have to say they are now decent looking shoes and extremely comfortable. Good to wear around the house or to the store and they fit really good. No breaking in needed.

Exactly what my elderly father needed. He likes the cushioning for his feet, and we all like that he doesn't have to bend over, fuss with a shoe horn or fumble with his laces. The laces are elastic and are tight enough to stay on, but not pinch the foot. The built-in shoehorn is sturdy enough to do the trick but not so rigid that it bothers the heel. Highly recommend for anyone, but especially those who might struggle with fine motor skills or flexibility to bend down.
