Not exactly true to size. Definitely order two up. I ordered a *California king* size for my boyfriends *King* sized bed and it is still too small. The bands to help hold it in place are cheaply made the stitching was loose when I took it out of the vac sealed pack.This was a gift and I missed the return window. I am very disappointed in the quality of the product I could have gotten something cheaper for what I got ordering this. Save yourself the trouble of having to wrap it back up to return it.

My mattress is a hybrid consisting of springs with a memory foam top. The memory foam is supposed to be cooler but it doesn't really work that well. Over time it's starting to get a saggy spot from where I lay on my side every night. I'm starting to feel like I'm falling into the spot even though it's only 1/2-3/4 inch deep. I'm trying to delay buying a new mattress so I was looking for something that might help me make it last a little longer, perhaps a mattress pad. When I saw this mattress topper available as a free promotional I ordered it. So basically it's like one of those down alternative comforters that they use in hotels. They put straps on the corners to hold it down and then a matching fitted sheet goes over it. I have a California King mattress and this was a regular king, it just means it was a little short and wide. It still went on just fine. Since I was confused that it was a mattress pad, I put it under my normal water proof mattress pad and did not use the fitted sheet that came with it. One of the corner straps broke while I was installing it. It does pouf up pretty good but I really don't feel any difference in the feel of the bed. The fabric feels nice, a soft microfiber. I can't tell yet how cool it will be in the summer, I will have to update my review once I've used it in warmer temps.

This KUB Mattress Topper & Cooling Protector is Great. I got this for my Queen size mattress and I love it. Comes compressed, so you need to let it rise a little (Instructions says 24 hours). This 2 inch mattress pad came in pink and cooling cover is pink also. There are elastic straps on each corner for better hold for each of them. Fits my Queen size mattress perfectly.The only thing I didn't care for, and could be just my mattress, is that the elastic bands for placing under each corner for securing the pad didn't want to stay on my mattress. My mattress is 12 inches thick and I had a very hard time trying to get them to stay, they kept wanting to slide off, like they weren't large enough. I had to be quick about placing it and then push the mattress down fast to get them to stay somewhat decent. I didn't have any trouble with the cooling cover.Once I got both of them on my bed and then put my normal sheets on it, it was amazing. It feels so comfortable. I wanted this because my back had been hurting and also my neck. Since my mattress is almost new, I thought this might help a bit. Since putting it on my bed, I have slept so much better. No back pain and the neck pain is almost gone too. Also it makes me feel so much cooler and comfortable when sleeping. I get very hot when I sleep, always kicking off the covers, this makes a big difference when sleeping. I love it and very happy with it. This just goes to prove that even a new expensive mattress can need a little help sometimes.The price is definitely worth the money. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT.

It's not as fluffy as they say it is let it lay out for 3 day instructions says 24 to 48 hrs but I did 72 hrs and after all that it still didn't fluffy up to be what they said it would be . I wouldn't recommend buying it .with what that said it would do they need to replace mind with one that does fluffy up for free.

I put the topper straight into the washer from the vacuum sealed bag. Thoroughly dried it. Rotating it several times in the dryer to be sure all areas were dry. It was fluffy when it was done drying.Then I washed the sheet. That's different. Like.. it's coated in rubber..feel. Dried the same. Felt odd. (For me, it's not a welcoming feel. It wasn't inviting me to bed.)After the first night using this mattress topper and fitted sheet set, I'm overall quite please with it's performance.The topper is comfortable and stayed in place during the night. Even when rolling over and getting in and out of bed. Other toppers had moved. So this was good. The elastic bands are well designed and the deep pocket sheet kept everything snug.I did feel like I'd slip off, with the material of the sheet. It made me cautious getting out. Something to note. And even though I had washed everything, the sheet did put off a smell. It also does feel cool to the touch. But they didn't "breathe" as much as I hoped. This made it a bit tricky to regulate on a cooler night.It's nice that the sheet and topper are separate. I feel like the sheet is only meant to help keep the topper in place. And one should still use their own sheets over it? That's how I felt about it.
