Science Diet really is the gold standard for pet food, whatever your feelings are about "grain-free" vs. "grain inclusive." The results are pretty undeniable, as I've had many cats throughout my years, and have tried many different types of food for them. I would say, pricewise, it's on the moderate-high end, but it's worth it because it keeps my cats healthy, and one bag lasts us about 6 months.They both get the SD Healthy Cuisine wet food, as well as this dry food, and it keeps their coats healthy. One of my cats has digestive issues, and the SD food plus probiotics have been the only solution to give him relief. Even better than the fancy, high-end cat foods.They also seem to love the taste as they rush to their feeder as soon as it dispenses food. They love it even more than their wet food, which is so surprising to me. They're super picky, and they only like this or the really stinky Friskies.

I have to be honest, I haven't tried this, so I can't review how it tastes. My cats seem to enjoy it, they yell at me when their bowl is empty and eat it all up when I fill their bowls. They digest it well, no diarrhea from eating it. All the bags I have bought have been good quality.

I've been using this food for years and my cats really like it. Great ingredients, no grain fillers. My only concern is the morsels are now made smaller than they were previously. It's an issue because I have one greedy little cat who eats too fast and tries not to chew. The bigger chunks used to slow him down, now he just tries to inhale them.

Our kitty low-key probably has IBS and this is the only food that prevents our home from becoming a chemical fallout zone. If you've got a fuzzy feline friend with tummy issues, this food is well worth the price. Bean is way happier, and we are too - especially when cleaning out the litterbox. ;)

I purchase this food specifically for an obese cat who lacks self control. With obese humans it's always assumed they lack self control so it probably seems odd I'd say that about a cat and some may also believe it's cruel as he's a helpless animal. I say he lacks self control because I've watched his eating behavior. I've noticed most weight loss formulas are high in fiber which works off the human principle fiber is slow to empty the stomach thus the person will feel full longer thus eating less. I've also noticed the kibble is small. My cat when presented with small kibble will stand at his bowl eating until he vomits. The large kibble forces him to actually chew all of his food which allows his brain time to notify his stomach he is full. Both of these also work off a human weight loss principle as obese humans are encouraged to chew each bite of food numerous times usually around 25 which allows the human brain the 20 minutes it needs to understand they're full. This formula isn't specifically advertised for weight loss,however that's what I'm trying to do. I can't state he's lost weight, however instead of gorging himself until he vomits he spends time chewing thus having him eat slow only take several bites like a cat would normally do. Although I do not know if he has actually lost weight I can state his behavior has changed so I'm hoping it's translated to weight loss because he's a beautiful spirit who doesn't deserve the issues that come with obesity such as joint pain due to stress on the joints,heart disease which may create pain due to the heart trying to pump blood through vessels that are all blocked, etc. As for being an exclusively indoor cat he's also at risk for increased hair balls. I do not see any issues with hairballs. Overall a very good cat food he appears to enjoy. When I open the shipping box he immediately knows it's for him. He tries to patiently wait for me to open the bag,however at times he becomes impatient and let's me know. He's taken the shipping box which is very large and has created himself a bed by arranging the paper it came packaged with and stores his favorite toys in it. Even his coat is shiny and soft as previously it was greasy and coarse. Overall I highly recommend this product.
