Great product

This was really nice - I don't know if it actually made a difference, but it felt really nice on my face and is a good product.

I'm always interested in trying new skincare products and this serum from South Korea caught my eye because that country has a good reputation for quality skincare. Upon reading the ingredients, I freaked out and will absolutely NOT use this. Here's why...The serum arrived with a safety seal and expiration date far into the future. The ingredients are on the box in tiny print so small I had to take a picture of them with my phone and enlarge it to see them. It's a dark brown package with black print, so nearly impossible to see. There is no ingredients listed in the product description, and I'm very particular about what I put on my face, so I made sure to see what this contained. There are a LOT of ingredients (see photos attached) and I chose the longest one and did a search for it. Evidently 'tetradecyl aminobutyroylvalylaminobutyric urea trifluoroacetate' is a PFAS! That's right... the family of forever chemicals called PFAS that we constantly hear about on television that are dangerous and we're not supposed to get cookware that has them... one of the ingredients considered a PFAS is in this skin serum. The EWG website gives that ingredient a 10 for being harmful. No way am I putting that on my face! It's also not listed last in the ingredients, it's right in the middle!The serum is also very thick and it's a bit difficult to get out of the eye dropper cap. I found that it had no scent.Based on ingredients, I would not recommend this serum and I will not be using it.

As pointed out by another reviewer, this product contains a concerning ingredient: Tetradecyl Aminobutyroylvalylaminobutyric Urea Trifluoroacetate. This compound belongs to a class of substances known as "forever chemicals."These chemicals have garnered significant attention and raised concerns due to their persistence in the environment and their potential harmful effects. While the FDA has currently assessed that the low levels of these chemicals found in cosmetics are unlikely to be harmful, higher concentrations have been linked to increased risks of cancer and other health problems. So the decision on whether to use is an individual one. For me although this is a great product that does what it says io can not justify the risks to my personal health and the damage to the environment.

I'm always on the lookout for skin care products I've never tried, so I ordered this one. It arrived protected in the Molvany brand box that has the information printed on the outside and also gives the how to use again on the bottle. The serum is contained in a thick opaque plastic bottle with a removable squeeze top dropper type dispenser. I did not detect a smell. The main ingredient of the serum is a Korean chestnut extract (see pic for full list on the box). The serum is an opaque gel with a good viscosity that absorbs quickly and well into the skin; dries smooth and non-sticky. It made my skin felt tighter. I like this for the soothing and hydrating properties for the skin that help to make it look smoother and more firm. It is also good for oily skin to help reduce excess sebum which helps in shrinking pores. I have sensitive skin, so far so good.

While it's very sticky and hydrating, for my skin it didn't work quite well as I had a small breakout after using this serum. For now I am going to discontinue and try it again after a few weeks to see if breakout was due to this product or something else.This is a very nicely presented product and it uses good ingredients. However, each skin type is different so I can't speak to how it might work for you. The brand is good and Korean product are well designed. I will revise my review if I see difference in future.

This is a smoothing and pore tightening serum. It is very light on the skin and dries quickly. It makes a visible difference in skin texture. It also makes my skin smooth to the touch. There is no stickiness after drying. Works beautifully as a first layer for foundation or sunscreen. There is no scent. Leaves skin natural looking, not glassy. I really enjoy how great this works for my skin.

Love this serum. Makes my face feel fresh and firm. There is a visible difference to pore size.
