After 27 years of caregiving experience, first for my father for 12 years and then my mother for 15 years, I have learned that peace isn't just a feeling, it’s a strategy. During my mother’s final months, these MildPlus 40x60 heavy duty under pads were exactly what we needed to maintain the “Home Sanctuary” I built for her.These are not your standard hospital “chucks.” I actually ordered three different sizes (40x40, 36x44, and 40x60) and I layered them for easy changing, using the 36x44 under her upper back and even over her pillow, the 40x40 under her middle to lower area, and the 40x60 underneath it all but on top of a cotton sateen flat sheet with the Vaunn Medical alternating air mattress topper underneath. These under pads are incredibly soft yet durable, which is why I could place one in between my mom’s head and shoulders and pillow. They feel more like high-end sateen sheets than a disposable product. This was so needed to continue protecting Mom’s fragile skin and maintain a sense of dignity, even as she became bedridden her last few weeks of hospice.When my mother’s body temperature began fluctuating she would sweat profusely, but these pads wicked the moisture away immediately. They kept her head, neck, and entire body dry and comfortable while I used cooling towels and a gentle fan to maintain her peace and comfort when she ran a temperature. They really absorb a staggering amount of liquid, making them perfect for warm water bucket bed baths or as a secondary “safety net” for incontinence.They are also quiet, unlike standard plasticky pads, these are silent! No “crinkling” sounds to break the quiet of the room. The giant 40x60 size covers the entire width of a hospital bed, providing “No-Slip” security. I really appreciated that the high-strength cloth backing even helped me provide gentle repositioning without tearing, something I simply couldn't do with standard chucks that were often too small or fragile.This Mother’s Day, the first one without my mom, I am sharing this review (my very first one) and others for my fellow brothers and sisters “caring in the clutch” and currently providing homecare or home hospice. These work very well. Does the job and won’t start to dissolve once it becomes soaked. The liquid seems to sink into the layers as a barrier. I was concerned about it not having a plastic bottom, but whatever film used does the job. I we are taking absorbing a large amount of fluid discharge, not a wound leak or incontinence. The size is great provides full body protection. Throw it on bed, length of car seat, or length of the couch and never have o worry about stains. I think the absorbency helps control the odor, but that is not a feature, just what I’ve notice. Cost a little more, but they are so worth it.

These are great! They don’t tear. They protect the bed in case of an accident. It’s much easier to move the patient into position with these pads, they haven’t torn one time. And I’m pulling a 175 pound man into place on the bed for his comfort.

They don't rip easily reasonable I mean for what you paid for to absorb fairly exorbitant they could be a little thicker but I I'm good with that I double up with another product I have a mother who can't get out of bed I take care of she has dementia and she goes a lot and she can't really wear diapers so we have to change her a lot so I have to double up with another product but they do help me I want to know what to do without him honestly and to move her a reposition her I can do it with that product I could do it with product here the nice long ones you need to move somebody it can you can pull them up in the bed if you have to I work alone so I have to do my own thing and easy but I do it I love her but you can pull her up in bed you can reposition her a little bit with it without having to worry about it caring you can't lift her with him you can pull her in the bed if you need to pull into the side of the bed up to the top of the bed she scoots around a lot and it's comfortable for her and what the other product that I use it helps I use it other type of pad as well and it works that's hard when somebody's in bed straight and you're alone so I appreciate them I'm thankful just enough to any caregiver know you're doing the right thing I know it gets to be a tiring thing but no you're doing the right thing in your heart you stuck her all said and done you'll be okay at least it's not going to hurt quite so bad

I like this pad more than others I've tried. It's huge and covers the whole bed. It's very absorbent and has saved me from changing the sheets multiple times a day. What I like most about these pads is they resist slipping and sliding around the bed unlike the blue pads. I also used the small pink chucks provided by hospice between the patient and the pad but, they were useless, shredding and sliding. These big white pads made it easier to maintain a clean bed from head to foot.

These are top of the line disposable bed pads. I have tried many different brands and sizes and absolutely love these. My son is 13 and suffers from nighttime bed wetting. He is dry on skin and they never leak through onto his sheet!

I honestly enjoyed the item it was as it was stated and very useful. The only issue that I had was some fibers or grains that came from opening it up to use it.. I mean its like EVERYWHERE!! Little small grainy fibers come out when the pad is opened. To the point I had to shake it before use and then dust afterwards.. I'm not sure what they are but it makes me not want yo purchase this product. Which is ashame because it does work
