I have a very picky dog eater, she absolutely loves all the flavors of the Stella premium dog food pouches. I would recommend getting this for your fur baby!

Picky Pomeranian loves! Doesn’t upset stomach and doesn’t seem to have any allergies to it. The packets are too big for him to eat as a meal so I split it into 2-3 toppers by just putting in container in fridge.

My Corgi loves these STELLA & CHEWY beef and salmon food packs. I like that the fish and meat are visible in chucks, which my dog likes, as well. There are no artificial ingredients. The directions say these can be used as a food topper or as a complete meal, using 3 pouches per 6 lbs. of dog. My 24 lb. Corgi would require 18 pouches per meal. These cost a little over $2.00 per pouches, so that’s beyond our food budget. We use this as a topper to her normal dry food. One packet is a great topper for a meal. Our pup usually plays with just dry food and often doesn’t eat an entire meal of just dry kibble. With this as a topper all of her meal including the kibble is gone within several minutes. Our Corgi has learned to recognize the packets and gets excited when she sees one pulled out at mealtime. We use the entire packet on a meal. It’s 2.8 ounces so enough for a nice topper. The contents are gloppy, with a noticeable salmon smell, so I prefer not to store a half used packet in the. Fridge. I definitely recommend these as a great topper. My dog is a picky eater (very un-Cogri like) and she loves this food. She recommends it for your dogs, as well.

I know my Blue Heeler loves it because I can put some of her less favorite food in her bowl and if it's mixed with this, she gobbles it right up.It lists oil as the fifth ingredient, so there must be a substantial amount. Fortunately, it's Sunflower oil, one of the healthiest oils for consumption. So that's a reassuring sign that they use healthy ingredients.In our household, we've liked all of the Stella and Chewy products we've tried, so it should be no surprise that this is another winner. But only as a topper, imo. As a main course, it doesn't seem credible at all. I was shocked to see, in the very fine print under "product information", that you'd need to feed a 30-pound dog 15 packets a day ("When fed as a complete meal, feed 3 pouches per 6 lbs. of body weight per day.") Whoa! Can that be right? It seems crazy. That's about $30 bucks a day at the current price. I think they should rethink that marketing strategy and sell this product as a food topper only (one that's nutritious enough to be eaten as a meal). That's the main reason I'm knocking off one star. Plus the expensive price overall. Two of these packets per day, used solely as a topper on her regular food, is around $4 per day. I know it's quality food, but that's out of reach for many pet owners.And lastly, if I'm spending that kind of money on dog food, I'd like to see more information on the packaging about the plants in Thailand where it's made. (I've read they're very good, but I'd like to see it in writing.)

Full disclosure we are a Stella and chewy family.When I switched from what I thought was a very high-quality dry food to Stella and chewy raw the change in my dogs health was exponential. My elderly dogs had so much more energy and they became a more healthy weight.When I got my new puppy this summer, I started feeding her the Gently cooked by Stella and chewy. When I was given the opportunity, was excited to try these new shreds! As much as my dog likes the gently cooked, she went WILD when I put the shreds on top!I didn’t pick her bowl up immediately and I kept catching her going back to lick her bowl over and over! She loved it! Fresh out of the pouch it’s kind of all mooshed together but if you move it with a fork you can see they are shreds. My dog wouldn’t have cared if I didn’t moved it around.It’s definitely more of a topper. They are small pouches. To feed as a whole meal you’d need three pouches per 6lbs.Overall I’m super pleased with this new shelf stable option! I would highly recommend all the Stella and chewy products. They are high quality and all my dogs loved it!

I was pleasantly surprised. Our dog is a very picky eater. The type to ignore her food like she is a toddler on a hunger strike. When I put this in her bowl she went straight to it and ate all of it. That alone is enough to get a great rating.I also like the packaging that this comes in. They are the mini pouches that are similar to the tuna and salmon pouches you get in the grocery store. The only difference is that it is fairly soupy instead of dry. The package tore easily and cleanly. Sometimes these types of packages are hard to open and mess up when opening. This tore evenly all the way across.Realize that the packs are fairly small. This makes them a full meal for a small dog, but for a medium or larger dog you will need to use it as a topper over their kibble.One last thing, this food is labeled as grass fed beef and wild caught salmon. I will attest to it being beef and salmon. I could see the pieces of beef and I could both see and smell the salmon.

The pouches we received are 97% gravy juice with very few shreds of meat.

This is my first time trying the Stella and Chewy's brand, for my pup, and I'm very impressed. It's made with healthy ingredients, with beef and salmon being the main ingredients. It's made without grains, carrageenan, meat by-products, soy, artificial colors, preservatives or flavors. It's hard to find a good dog food that doesn't contain carrageenan, grains, and meat by-products, so I was really happy to find this brand.The best part is, my Morkie loves it. As soon as I get the package, she starts dancing, and has a hard time waiting for it. I put it over her hard food, or sometimes just give her a little for a snack. She always licks until the bowl, or slow feeder mat is completely clean. Because she's small, one pouch lasts three days, so it's a good value. Might be a bit pricey for large dogs.
