Really happy with these shoes. Since I've gotten older, I really have trouble finding shoes that fit well or are comfortable, but these were great right out of the box. They look good; they're lightweight, and the sole provides very good grip. I read many comments before buying, and quite a few people advised going down a half-size so I took a chance and ordered a 9 1/2 instead of 10 and it worked out very good. The toe-box is roomy but it's not overly huge either like some comments would make you think. And actually, there is a pretty decent insole with arch support in the shoes. One of the things I like best is the real rubber sole which is flat so it provides a much more comfortable and stable walking experience than the cleated hiking shoe soles, or the man-made plastic soles. And even though it's flat, it has groves cut in the sole so it grips very well. I live in Minnesota, and we've been out for walks a few times in cold snowy weather, since I got them, and the shoes gripped the ground very well. In addition, the water repellant leather kept my feet dry and comfortable. I'm not always a big fan of Skechers, but they hit a home run with the Respected Boswell Mid-Top leather sneakers. I do lawn care as my full-time job, and these shoes have been a game changer. During early mornings, dew on the ground can leave my socks soaked, but these shoes keep my feet dry the whole time. I've even used them during the winter, and even walking through snow, slush, and puddles up to 3 inches deep has left my feet dry. Every so often, when I nearly waterboard these shoes during extreme wet climates, my feet get slightly damp, but nothing more. They're some of the best waterproof sneakers I've come across.Slip resistance is pretty great too. Using them normally, the sneakers have a nice grip on a majority of terrains. During the winter when ice is a major issue, I still will slip when wearing the sneakers, but the tread helps me to rebalance. I have yet to slip AND fall wearing these shoes.These shoes are meant for men, but as a woman, these still fit amazingly. My feet have a little wiggle room, and the opening is just big enough to easily slip my feet in but also keep my feet secured inside. The shoes are easy to take off, but I haven't accidentally slipped out of the sneakers. They're incredibly comfortable, with the added foam inserts giving my knees and hips the added support they need. Even after a rough 10-hour shift, my feet and knees don't ache nearly enough for me to feel sore and worn down.My only complaint about these sneakers is that the quality of the material deteriorates quickly over time. The foam is flattened, the faux leather creases and stains easily, and the tread gets worn down. For how frequently I use these for work, I know I have to replace them each year. I wish they could last longer, not only to save me money, but to also be more sustainable. However, I can't imagine doing my job without these sneakers. I will continue to buy new pairs each year, because functionally, these sneakers checkmark every box.

Good fit, good traction on snow. Ice not so much.

My husband is very hard on shoes, and this is the second pair of this exact shoe he's purchased. He has a very high instep and wide foot, so good, comfortable shoes are hard to find. Leave it to Skechers to be the go-to shoe! Soft, comfortable from the first wear, lasting quality and good looks.

I bought these shoes based on their appearance as a casual boot but to my surprise upon receipt it was my opinion that they look like a work boot and not like the picture shown in the listing. I will say that they appear to be well made , they are comfortable but run big in the width . The pair that I got are what I ordered , size 13 M however like I said they are quite wide but the length gave plenty of extra room . I would say about 3/8 of an inch longer than my foot and the toe box has plenty of room. Personally I wouldn't use them for running or dancing and although I did'nt weigh them they felt heavier than the 2 pounds advertised. If they were narrower , I will say they would make a great work boot or even at this width would probably be great with thicker winter type socks as the boots really are very comfortable and seem well made and the tread is great and doubtfully slippery.

Comfortable. Shoe lace ends up getting cut by upper lace pass throughs after a few months. Good boot though.

The run big so plan on it.I walk alot in the forest with my hunting dog.. winter time is thick socks and the fit is great and support is perfect. Like wearing ruffed HI-Tpp tennis shoes.Summer i walk trails and paved areas more. Comfortable on hard surfaces. I wear 3/4 thin wool socks for hot weather. I wear the boots all the time.Liked so much I bought two pairs at same time!

Bought THESE for my Dad who can NEVER find comfortable shoes wide enough - these were just the ticket!! Such a good purchase! They’re comfortable, lightweight and were the perfect width! Super happy with them.

They look good! Ordered in October. Tried on. Great. I am generally not a boot person but with the snow we’re having this season, thought I’d better put them on. Half hour in, my right foot was hurting. There’s a piece of material, or something that shouldn’t be there rubbing and causing irritation. Return window has closed. Now what do I do .

Great Boots, have wide feet and can sometimes be dubious about ordering on line well so pleased with these very comfortable from the start can recommend they are waterproof and have been well tested in the good old British weather nice dry warm feet.
