Well worth the high price! I have a concrete pool and had black algae get into the pores of the concrete one summer. That was the hardest stuff to scrub away. Since using this product it never happened again and I’ve ended up using less chlorine each year that I’ve put this in my skimmer. It last the whole summer and saves me so much maintenance during the pool season! Plus, no chemicals! Won’t go a summer without it!

Right after adding this guy, the algae blooming disappeared and the chlorine levels stablized. The water is crystal clear too!Heads up for those with cartridge filters! Do NOT use the filter for at least a day when you add this. If you have the filter in when you initially deploy this, the filter will suck it all up and get saturated to the point of replacement. Remove the filter entirely and run the pump without it until the PoolRX is completely dissolved into the water. For me this took a day and a half of no filter (14hrs w/variable speed pump) at all and a couple of daily filter cleans after that to get back to a normal flow rate.After that this thing has been lights out! It's rainy season here in FL and I am watching to see how it handles that as well. So far so good!

I’ve been fighting algae on the sides of my older plaster pool. Had my water tested by Leslie‘s pool supply to no help. Brushed my pool every day sometimes twice a day nothing worked. PoolRX worked! I put it in my skimmer and ran it for about a day and a half with no noticeable change and decided to ad shock and that did the trick haven’t brushed my pool yet. Well worth the money for me. I am not a professional pool guy but I take care of own pool and this saved me. Thanks Pool RX 😊
