I felt compelled to write this review. We just got (2.5 weeks ago) a rescue who was a stray. His teeth had what looked to me like weird gray mounds at the back of the molars. He would not let us brush his teeth or come close to putting anything in his mouth.At first we tried the regular, hard teeth cleaning chews. He liked them fine, but those seemed to just be a fun chew for him. We then decided to splurge on the OraVet Chews, which, granted, were quite expensive, but we were hoping to at least stall the progression of dental issues that he appeared to have. Our dog loved them, and treats them like a high value treat. They appear to be semi-soft when he bites down, so his teeth sink into the chew (as opposed to the more traditional, very hard tooth chews that just seem to crumble and are consumed quite quickly).Within a week of starting these we noticed that his teeth appeared whiter, and we could no longer find the gray at the back of his mouth. His breath also improved greatly.I would highly recommend this (at least to try) to anyone, I cannot believe that these chews were able to do this in just under a week.

This product actually delivers more than most!! My dog’s breath used to announce his presence, but I can get right in his face, and I don’t smell anything!! It does a better job than his dental cleaning did, no joke!

Amazing product. Really helps my dogs teeth and breath. He absolutely adores them and he gets so excited before we go to bed because that’s when he gets . Biggest issue is that the price has gone up almost 45% since I started buying these three years ago. I don’t know if this is Amazon dynamic pricing or what, so I probably needed to look into another provider because I guarantee you those employees aren’t getting 45% more pay.

Our dog loves these and that’s an understatement. They definitely help with bad breath and keep tartar and plaque under control. However, we were just notified that our Subscribe and Save price is increasing 40% and that will be more difficult to justify.

My dog loved these as evening snacks!

Vet recommended these chews for my 10 year old German Shepherd. They have the VOHC dental seal which is awesome. I rotate dental chews, only those with the VOHC seal, for my dog. Some may be better with plaque, others for tarter. Plus my dog loves a variety. These are a bit expensive, but my dog is worth it. Another thing I really like about these is that each one is individually wrapped. This is my second time buying these.
