Well made, sturdy & easy to manage once you’ve used it a couple times. My 65 lb black lab was having trouble jumping off the back of my Mazda SUV. He was afraid & nervous to make the jump, and I was not able to lift him out. So I ordered these stairs & he absolutely loves going down them. I thought I’d need to coax him with some treats, but he barreled down them as soon as I set it up! It does collapse easily & fits behind the passenger seat. Its a little bit unwieldy to pull out, but I try to remember to tighten my core & it helps me not tweak my back. I chose this one because of the relatively lighter weight compared to others, and the great reviews. It came quickly & my dog & I both love it! Highly recommend.

Awesome! 6 step is perfect for 2022 Tundra and versatile enough for midsize SUV!My 9yr old 78 lb Labrador Retriever has arthritis in her back legs and has not been able to get in the back seat for about a year now without me lifting her up. I'm am recovering from severe foot surgery and cannot lift her like I was prior to foot injury. These steps are the golden ticket for our situation. No more jumping up and down risking injury for either of us. Typical when we’re out and about I have the back floorboards occupied with gear/luggage so I needed something to extend up to the backseat. I almost ordered the 5 step model, but the 6 step extends perfectly up to the back seat rather than the floorboard. I couldn’t be happier. I do have to stabilize the steps for her while going up and down as you see me holding the steps with my hand and a treat with the other. Not a big deal, just something to be aware of because there is no way to fasten the provided strap to my back seat like you can on the back of an suv.The video in my review shows our first attempt! She was hesitant at first, but will do anything for a treat. The steps are much more rigid and sturdy than I was expecting. The material is not slippery and provides her with grip to make it feel secure. Fold/unfolds very easily and is compact enough to stow behind the front seat.More than happy with this product and the fact that she’s comfortable with the steps is going to allow us more time spent together. Hopefully they’ll hold up and will handle the saltwater for the boat days. Even if it gets rusty from boat days I’d definitely buy it again.

I got these for my five little dogs (they're about 15 lbs. each) who were OTR trucking with me. Man, how these stairs saved my back, and my dogs love them. They clearly felt very empowered getting in and out of the big truck on their own. I also used these if someone needed grooming or a pill or a jacket because I could stop them on the step with the best height and do business. I would not consider these steps for use with a person! A friend of mine was thinking his Mom could use these. Please don't. But for my little rascal dogs, these are perfect. I still use them with my SUV. The handles at the top are covered in foam, which I rested on the top semi step and the foam on it's own kept them securely in place, but there are also clips that I hooked onto the truck for safety. The stairs never moved at all and my dogs trusted the steps. The rise and run are perfect and, despite being pretty lightweight, they're solid enough. Even the reflective strips were handy to have at night, especially when used between parked trucks, which was tight sometimes, but not a problem. They fit absolutely perfect in my side box even with all the other stuff us truckers have to keep in there. I drove a 2019 Volvo. These designers really thought this through and came up with a great product worth every penny. I highly recommend these.

My wife recently purchased a new SUV, which is a bit larger and sits higher than her previous SUV. That being said, our now senior dog has been having difficulties jumping in and out of the vehicle. I started looking for a ramp which would help us to help him get in the vehicle with relative ease.After reviewing all of the options here on Amazon, I started looking more closely at this particular ramp and felt that it would work well for our situation. The reviews were excellent, so I took a chance on it. When it arrived, we opened it up and we were very impressed with how easy it was to unfold and hook up to the vehicle. After a few test runs, our dog now goes up and down the ramp with no problem whatsoever.I know it sounds like a glowing review so why the four star rating? Well, the biggest challenge we ran into is the cover on each of the ramp can and often do slide around a little bit. If anything, it should be perhaps Velcro fixed to each of the ramp steps. At the present time, it slides or shifts too easily.PROS: intuitive, easy to use, well constructedCONS: padding on each step needs to be velcroed to maintain stability

My 10 year old, very large dog was recently diagnosed with advanced osteoarthritis and has been struggling with his mobility in the past few months. He's always been allowed on the furniture and sleeps with me in bed, but have worried about him hurting himself as his condition worsens. When I stumbled upon these steps, and saw all the positive reviews for them, I decided to give them a try and am so happy I did. It took a few days of training him to get the hang of them, but he caught on quickly and they're really going to be helpful in maintaining his freedom to access the bed as he wants/needs. We also travel a lot, go camping and roadtrip and these will be great for getting in and out of our SUV. They easily collapse, are very sturdy - the don't creak or bend under the weight of my 85lb dog and I love that the sidea of the steps are glow in the dark! So far I'm very pleased with this purchase and can't wait to put them to the test on our next road trip too!

The steps are wide and feel strong, but the length was not enough for me. I have a mid-size SUV (RX350) and the steps did not easily reach to the top of back, so it ended up being a little steep. Steep enough that my dog would not even try to go up. Ended up returning because I couldn't even get him to put a paw on. I suppose that's mostly on him, but I do feel if the staircase had more length then it wouldn't be as steep and perhaps my dog would have been more apt to try.

Vendu pour un escalier 6 marches, il n’y en a que 5 réellement , donc l’escalier est plus petit de 15 cm 🤬🤬🤬🤬.Et après 1 mois d’utilisation, les mousses de protection sont déjà fortement abîmées.Enfin, la marche du haut (composée d’une planche en médium dans une housse en tissus) n’est pas stable car le médium est beaucoup plus petit que la housse. Mon chien risque de passer au travers à chaque utilisation.Je vais être obligé de le renvoyer pour remboursement. Et trouver un modèle conforme à la description.

I don't recommend anyone who have large dogs. I think it is made for Smaller pets. I just want to return it and wasted My $200

Compré esta escalera para mi perro que empieza a tener problemas en las patas traseras. No sólo es perfecta para mi coche (un kia niro) si no que, los escalones son tan sólidos que, a mi perro apenas le ha costado adaptarse a subir por ella.En resumen, estoy encantada con la compra.

My dog cannot go up the ramps. They require back strength. Steps allow her to use more of her front legs strength.I used it for a couple of years. I lost it, probably forgot it somewhere. Tried to use the trixie ramp for a while but it did not go well. So I bought another of the same stairs.A bit annoying to open and fold and always taking space in the car. But so do all alternatives.Price is probably the only downside but you judge yourself.Can recommend.
