Firstly, background information: I have straight dark black long hair. One of my daughters have curly hair (about a 2-3C) and my husband has curly hair too. His mum who is visiting from G.B. have more coiled hair.We all had slightly differing opinions about the bottle coming from a big family with a lot of diversity in hair type and scalp conditions.The suds on the shampoo for me was not enough, it's small bubbles so there is some but not a lot. But I love the results of my hair and scalp. My hair and scalp felt clean and healthy. For my preference I like more suds but my family loved how gentle and not as drying it was too, we all liked the shampoo enough.The conditioner is pretty standard for me, reminds me of dove or suave minus the super / overly strong scent and silicones they have. This conditioner is silicone free. I like the conditioner on my hair but my daughter said she would have liked to see something a little heavier duty. We thought the condition was relatively basic and tamed. NOT BAD! Far from it. But nothing exactly standout.The scent is very herbal - a slight hint of Asian medicine. It's not bad, but it's not great where I want to reach for it just for the scent. In fact, the more I used it the more I couldn't really vibe with it.Overall though I think the value is good since you get two large bottles. It doesn't come with pumps but it was packed well and I consider pretty economical for the quality and amount.

It gives me the WORST dandruff I’ve ever had. I like the feel, the smell is ok. But I can’t even use it. I used for a week and had to stop due to the dandruff. Waste of money in my opinion.

I really am impressed with this Del Sur curl volume shampoo and conditioner set. My hair is very thick and curly and this works great and leaves my hair soft, manageable , and full of volume. It doesn't dry my hair out and it keeps my hair from being frizzy. You don't need a lot of this product and the shampoo lathers really well. These are big bottles at 16 oz each. I like that they didn't make the fragrance heavy. It is light but smells amazing all day. This shampoo and conditioner set is well worth the price.

It's not for everybody. It didn't help my daughters hair but that doesn't mean it won't work for you.

DIDN'T REALLY HELP WITH MY CURLS ALSO HAS A WEIRD SMELL

I have reluctantly come to accept the truth that there is no curly hair product on the market that actually works the way it promises to (with the possible exception of some lightweight gels). This set falls into the same category. It works in reducing frizz and making your curls look better, but it does not work miracles. Especially if you have hard water that dries out your hair. This would be fine, you can only get so far with a hair care product, but in this case you can only buy the shampoo and conditioner in a set and you'll need to use a whole lot of conditioner to get repair benefits from it. That can end up being pricey. I don't have a problem with the smell, just not sure a whole lot of guys would want to bury their nose in it and declare it irresistible. However, I'm several decades beyond caring about that aspect of it. In summary, it works about as well as other higher priced curly hair products but it's not a miracle product.

I’m giving this 4 stars because it’s good, just not amazing for me so far.I really like the ingredient list. Camellia, hibiscus, and amaranth oil all sound great and made me feel good about using it on my curls. It cleansed well and didn’t leave my hair feeling dry, which is important for curly hair.I haven’t noticed a big change in curl definition or volume yet. That could change with more use, so I’m going to keep trying it before I fully decide.The only downside for me is the scent. It’s not terrible, but it’s not a fresh or spa-like smell either. My husband actually commented on the chemical smell of the shampoo. I didn’t think it was that strong, but it’s definitely not my favorite fragrance.Overall, it works well and has solid ingredients. I just haven’t had that wow moment with it.

I’ve been really happy with this shampoo and conditioner set. It cleans my hair well without drying it out, and my curls feel softer and more defined without feeling heavy. I love that it adds volume and bounce while still keeping my hair manageable and easy to style. It’s been a great everyday option for my curls.
