Spent over $500 on window ceramic tint which is still no help if you are seating in the car and not moving even with ac (like in a kid car pool), which I kinda regret getting the extra tint and would’ve prioritized this shade first.This window shade no doubts does so much better while you are in the car waiting in full sun. I also feel it did better when the car is parked after a few hours with no climate control.Installation was straight forward but you should mount the side clips first. If you put both up there, they kinda push on each to not allow any gaps, thus creating a perfect fit. The quality feels great with the reflective material really proving that it deflect the suns rays. This should’ve been my first and cheaper option against heat vs window tint.Although it minimized heat from coming in, the only issue was that it kept heat between the shade and the ceiling for much longer, creating like a greenhouse effect and my ceramic tint likely did not help in this scenario (keeping heat in). The only way to not feel the heat on your head (after a parked car heat build up) is to actually remove the shade before you drive it out, in which I had to do because I thought I would die, lol.I am experimenting on a hybrid option where I leave the front shade up all the time while letting the heat dissipate thru the back. the sunshade feels well made and good quality. it comes in 2 pieces. instructions are short but sufficient and show appropriate orientation and placement of the pieces as well as where to place the clips to hold it in place. the clips work well once you get the hand of how to slip them on. they simply slip back the trim around the glass roof, so there is no damage or modification to the car. the two pieces of the sunshade actually push against each other tightly, which helps keep them in place and stable. together with the clips, it doesn't budge and will stay in place. there are not gaps, and it fits perfectly. appears is impressive as well, matching the color of the rest of the inside trim and is done well enough that passengers likely wouldn't even notice it's not OEM.

Although the Juniper has a special coating to block out heat on it's sunroof, I still felt like some heat was getting through. I ordered this kit and installed it in under 5 minutes. The covers are those twist fold style ones like a windshield sunshade, except they go flat to fit up under the glass. The little clips go in easily and have been holding up well and stable. I can feel the heat between the sunshade and roof. It also adds a nice touch of color inside the car.For installation I suggest putting the clips on the sunshade, then putting it up to slide them in. For some reason they are clipped under the glass, the sunshade doesn't slide into them as well. Then for the middle ones, after you get the first sunshade up, put those in right in the middle, then slide the other shade into it. I'm thinking of removing the rear one just to get the extra light in the back of the car.
