They arrive right when it’s time to replace them, and installation is quick and easy in my Café refrigerator. Perfect fit. No fuss, no muss… whatever that actually means. 😂We’re on well water and already have a whole-house filtration system, but for drinking water, I still really like having an additional filter on the refrigerator water and ice dispenser. It gives me extra peace of mind, especially considering everything these filters are certified to reduce.I also appreciate that the genuine GE filters fit correctly and communicate properly with the refrigerator. Sometimes the off-brand replacements may save a little money upfront, but I personally prefer sticking with the manufacturer’s filter for something we drink every day.They’re simple, dependable, and one less thing I have to think about.I hope that this review helps you decide. They are very easy to use and replace your water filter. Water filter makes the water taste great and the flow of water is good. It’s a clean filter system, the replacement are the same as the original. The cost is small compared to the taste of filtered water

Really satisfied with this GE XWFE Refrigerator Water Filter. It installs easily and fits perfectly without any issues. Have used for a while now on subscription. Works great but around 3 months becomes almost unusable with relatively light usage even though says should last 6 months. At around 3 months my fridge says around 50% filter status but takes 20 minutes to fill a glass up, happening on pretty much every one of these I’ve had

Although these filters are pricey, we ordered two which was a better deal than just getting one. They fit our refrigerator nicely and were easy to install. They last a long time with keeping the water clean before having to change it out again.

I failed two generic brand water filters before - they gave me the water filter error message on my GE Profile Refrigerator. I returned the two generic filters and bought this genuine GE XWFE water filter 2 pack. It fits and works perfectly. I tested both water filters and they all worked fine.

I've bought this for my fridge 3 times and normally works perfectly. I'm only leaving a review because this time we went to replace the cartridge and I believe the chip in the cartridge is faulty. The water will not dispense and our fridge is showing an Error message. We removed/reinserted, turned the whole fridge off/on. Just does not want to work. We put our old cartridge back in and its dispensing fine. Being these are pretty expensive little cartridges I will contact GE in attempt to get a refund. My recommendation would be to order extra to have on hand in case you get a faulty cartridge.

The water filters are as advertised and were very easy to install.

This time the proper product was delivered on Time and it was the product that I ordered. I ordered the same product last time snd you sent the wrong product and I called to return it and no one replied…waste of money…

The shipping service was excellent, my water filter arrived 2 days earlier. After watching short film on geappliances.com showing how to install the replacement filter, the whole installation was very easy (I have GE side-by-side refrigerator with original XWF (no E on the end) filter). XWEF is a replacement for XWE filter. No errors, no mistakes, no leakage - it took less than a minute. The only complain which I have is the price for the filter, in my opion is much to high.
