Rating this 5 stars only because the lightbulbs worked well and I don’t want to hurt this products reputation.If you’re buying this specifically with the intention to use them with Alexa, it does not work. Amazon’s picture of the package is not accurate. Good customer service though by Amazon on this issue…hopefully they update this page to remove “works with Alexa”

These are not wifi as advertised. They connect via Bluetooth but this doesn't work well with alexa networks.

I like the CSYNC app (Android, I have not tried Apple version). It works well, so far. It can group so that a light with two of these bulbs can work together. Brightness range is good. It can be set as dim as a candle. These have color adjustment from dull orange to blue-white, (color temperature, NOT full RGB range).After these light bulbs were setup and working with CSYNC app, i tried to connect Alexa. This did not go smoothly. I needed to do factory reset on the lights and re-do the setup with Alexa. I expected the CSYNC skill in Alexa to work like the CSYNC app, but groups are different, light controls are different. Alexa allows five color temperature settings instead of the 0-100 slider in the CSYNC app.After these light bulbs were setup and working with Alexa, I tried to go back in with the CSYNC app to fine-tune the color. The CSYNC app did not connect. Add device in CSYNC fails. it looks like Alexa setup locks out the CSYNC app. Can't have both. I will leave Alexa in control.

I have these bulbs within our home and love them. The app is easy to use and we recently bought a dot. Now Google and Alexa can be used even at the same time. These did not work properly because the power switch is a dimmer switch. I did not know these lights as well as sensor lights will not work correctly with that kind of power switch. As soon as the switch is changed to an on/off switch, I will buy again.

We love using the Cync light bulbs. I’ve created a whole ecosystem in the apartment and different scenes to fit the “mood.” Personally I like the multi-color changing lights the best, but the warm/cool tone is the second best (I think they’re cheaper). The system works really well! I have considered switching to the Phillip hue lights, but the price for Cync is good. I definitely recommend!

This product is buggy and simply does not work. I tried to install it using the CYNC app, and it did not find the bulbs, finally after several tries, it did locate the bulb, butr would not connect to the network and finally could not add it to the group. I am a technically savvy person, so if you are not familiar with setting up devices, this is definitely not for you. Technical support is worse than the product itself !PLEASE DO NOT BUY this rubbish.

I decided to keep them because they work with the app. I do like the ability to dim & change from warm to cool light. They do NOT work well with Alexa. I have dozens of smart devices from plugs to thermostats…. I have multiple echo devices & have never had an issue.It is disappointing.Also, if your recessed lights are to close together I recommend putting them up only one bulb at a time. It may recognize 2 bulbs as one (which is extremely odd) so it is not easy to operate separately.They are quirky but are workable. I will go with a different brand in the future

After reading the product description I bought 4 of these to use with my Alexa devices. While both the description and pictures of the product indicate they worked with Alexa, the bulbs that were delivered actually had no mention of Alexa compatibility on them, just Google. Initially I thought Amazon had sent the wrong bulbs, but after trying to get them to work, it was evident why they removed the "Alexa compatibility" labels. The bulbs work with GE cync's app perfectly fine (hence not a 1 star review), but trying to link that app with the Alexa app is the failure. If you then read the reviews of that app, you'll see every review says the same thing: the Alexa integration worked months ago but hasnt worked since. I even spoke to Alexa support, and they were aware it wasnt working, but to give them 24 hours to fix it, as if months hadnt already gone by with that problem. It was only when I went to return these bulbs that I noticed the "Frequently Returned" label on the product site. You can add me to that list as well. If you just want these bulbs to use with the app, they work well. If you want to be able to tell Alexa to turn your lights on or off, they work not at all.
