For reference, I’m 5’2” and about 160 pounds, and the fit was incredibly flattering in all the right places. The material was lightweight and breathable, which made it comfortable to wear all day and night, yet it still felt high-quality and luxurious.This dress somehow manages to be sexy and elegant at the same time—very classy for a formal wedding while still making me feel confident and beautiful. I tried this in XL in my quest for a jewel-toned bridesmaid dress. I tried lots of different brands at different price points from different retailers, and I was very surprised that this one was as nice as the ones that I tried from the bridesmaids' website that begins with "L." The cut and ruching were extremely flattering, even on my "mom bod," and the velvet had a nice weight to it. Unfortunately, the dark blue velvet looked almost black in person--too dark for my needs. Also, the XL was too large for me, but that was my fault for not being brave enough to order it in my true size (L). (I'm not used to wearing such fitted dresses and thought that I would be more comfortable sizing up. Order your regular size!) Finally, the slit is a little too high for a formal event like a wedding. I will keep this dress in mind if I ever want a full-length gown for a sexy date night.For reference, I'm 5'4", 161 lbs, 32DDD (US), size 12 (US), and the XL was too large for me in the bodice. I have a feeling that the L would have been perfect if I had decided to go with this dress. Also, I was pleasantly surprised that the length wasn't so excessive that I would need to have it hemmed. I was stepping on it when I tried it on without shoes, but I think that 2-to-3-inch heels would have been fine with it.

This dress was perfect, right out of the bag. No wrinkles or creases. I got navy blue velvet in medium, as suggested by size chart. I was on the upper end of the chart (37-29-39) but the dress fit like a glove without being too tight. It looks slimming. I'm 5'6" & it looks perfect with 3" heels. I could go with a higher or lower heel, but I'm happy with the dress length for me. The fabric is soft & luxurious. The color is a deep, dark navy that looked black in the package, but when you put it on, the dark blue shade is evident & very rich looking. I tried it on without a bra & it's fine if you don't like wearing one. It also works with a strapless bra (at least the one I have), which I prefer for the support. The only negative is the straps. They are very thin and delicate. They appear to be well sewn and look sexy on the dress but I hesitate to hang it by the straps. I want to avoid excess wear on them & decided to turn the dress inside out and fold it over a hanger. For the price, I'm super impressed. I'm wearing it with gold shoes, gold bag & jewelry - I think it looks like a million bucks. You could definitely style it with black or silver accessories but I just have gold & they work beautifully.

Giving 3 stars because it was delivered late. I ordered it on a Tuesday, 2 day shipping, to arrive Thursday for an event i had on Friday night. Shipping then got delayed until Friday. When I checked tracking on Friday, it was being delivered between 6pm and 10pm. I was set to leave at 530pm. I held out hope it might get here in time, but at 3pm I had to run out to a local mall to hurry to get a gown in time for my event, which i then ended up being a few minutes late for. My dress wasn't delivered until 7pm Friday night. Luckily i had found a last minute gown to save the night. If you can't deliver in the time you promise, don't promise it. However my Amazon driver did a great job delivering it and making sure it was in a safe place until I got home, and the gown itself is beautiful and fits perfectly. I was going to return it since the event i purchased it for is over, but decided to keep it for the next one. Since i can't trust delivery time. But again, the dress is lovely and well made. Just buy it with extra time for delivery.

I loved this dress. It fit well & loved that the split wasn't too high & you didn't have to worry about it when sitting down. It's a nice dusty light pink & was very comfortable & it was great that the straps were adjustable. I could have used more support in the bust area but the fact it covers any tummy bulges makes up for it. I just needed to have the length hemmed, since I am very short.

First off, this dress is gorgeous. The color/print is stunning, the material is nice and silky, I adore the neckline. But if you’re like me and you have an apron belly, it’s gonna show in this dress :( I included pics of myself from each side and from the front. I don’t think the sides are too bad, but I definitely notice my belly in the front picture, and that’s posed with tight shapewear on. I think it’s partially because of the placement of the ruching/crossover on my stomach. I’m 5’5” 210lbs 38DD and I’m usually a size 14 in dresses and 12 in jeans. I’m wearing size large here and it fits like a glove and is very stretchy. Straps are also adjustable. If you’re in between sizes, size down. I also tried this dress in the sparkly black size XL and I prefer how the large fits. Unfortunately I’ll be returning because it doesn’t flatter my body type, but if I lose 50 lbs I’ll be RUNNING back here to reorder this. Ordered a couple more dark colors hoping they’ll be a bit more forgiving. Definitely give it a try!

Good dress for the price. Pretty sturdy. I altered it a few ways and it didn'ttear up so it’s not too delicate. The split wasn’t wide like the picture and didn't show unless moving - which was good. The deep V neck was very low so I added some tulle to the neckline. It turned out nice. The dark blue is darker than the photo - almost black which made it hard to match. Ruching at waist laid flatter than the sample photo, very flattering. The glitter effect was very mild -barely there.

No lo recomiendo, el corte esta raro y la tela no es para ese precio. A no ser que te sea urgente y no puedas salir, mejor date una vuelta a liverpool.
