You would see if you were buying a blanket at a retail store.Upon removing it from its airtight inner sealed bag, it had a very strong chemical odor to it, and it was very smashed. I placed it in the dryer on high heat for 10 minutes and it really did help to remove the odor and fluff the blanket up.I'm a little confused why this blanket is only for a woman and girls? At least that's what I had for when I read the title of the listing so I guess if you are a man, you cannot have this blanket kind of odd and if I were the seller, I would change that because it definitely will affect search results...I used the blanket on top of my bed as an actual comforter. My bed is a full-size bed. I ordered a queen size blanket, and it covers it nicely.It is probably one of the softest blankets I have ever felt in my life and yes, I would recommend this if you were in the purchase for a nice large, soft, cozy blanket!

I've purchased FIVE of these blankets. They are on the thinner side, but perfect for those who like to cuddle up with something super soft when it's a bit warmer. I've washed them several times, and there is some difference in texture (I washed in hot and dried all the way on hot. It was needed for the food we spilled on it) and although it did change the texture SLIGHTLY, the blanket held shape, and stayed wonderfully soft. Colors I ordered were exactly as pictured. Love this blanket and will def order another if I need a gift again!

This one lives on our bed. We sleep with it every night. It’s durable and comfortable and so soft. The value is much more than the price. I don’t remember it being super expensive either. It fits our king size bed though at times I do wish it were a bit bigger. If something happened to this blanket I think she’d cry and I’d have to get another immediately.

Blanket is nice a soft. I washed it to get rid of any fluffs and it washed really well. I got the queen size to place at the end of a bed in my spare room. My guests loved it and said it was really cozy. Blue is a true light/medium blue.
