Was looking for this item for quite a while but preferably 1/2 in. Since I could not find that size, I chose to try this out and see how it would work on my hair. It is great! The handle makes it so functional and easy to use, not like the usual irons, which I have a problem with figuring out which was is up...if that makes any sense. I am definitely happy I made this purchase!

Wow- I have arrow straight Asian hair. Romantic wavy curls have always been unattainable at home. If I want it for a special occasion or wedding, I always have to go to the salon. I have tried but always ended up frustrated with burnt hair. This curler made it very easy (plus viewing many hours of YouTube). I have a full head of long curls in about 1/2 hours, like I just came from the salon! I especially like the L-shape hair dryer like handle so I don’t have to lift both arms to hold the curling iron. I used to get tired, drop my arms and accidentally burn my scalp. The time is also handy. I set it to the lowest 310 degrees and set the 10 seconds timer 3x (30 seconds) and like magic my straight stubborn hair is this romantic soft curl. Love this thing!!Update… like it so much I bought one for my daughter for Christmas 2022. Recently, I curl up my hair for an office party. It was rainy and humid all day. I never thought it will hold even with lots of hair spray. But it did! Photos are after a full day of work about 14 hours later. But do use heat protectant on this high temperature hair curler. I use 370 degrees and 60 sec except with the finer hair neck and sideburns that I only use 30 sec.

I had a hairdresser use this on my hair and I loved how it looked so I purchased this. I normally use the Beachwaver s1 and I love it, however, I wanted something that would be easier to use. This iron bar is great. It is so much easier to use all over your head, and the timer is amazing. It comes with a glove so you don't burn your hand/fingers. I have read people talking about a high pitched noise coming from it and I guess I can see what they mean sometimes, but I really had to listen for it to even know what they were talking about.For reference for type of hair/heat/time: I have a lot of fine, Blonde highlighted/bayalage hair and I set my bar to 370 degrees for 15 seconds or 390 degrees for 10 seconds. (the more hair on the iron, I have it on for more time. The front of my face where hair is much more breakable, I keep on for less/about 8 seconds)

Love the product, got compliments when I used it on my hairs to make waves. Worth it! I used it on my clients too, it doesn’t give you that awkward feeling on your arm like you do with curling irons.

This product arrived dirty and covered in fingerprints, it has clearly been used before. Very disappointed
