This pump is the best one I have ever owned, and I have tried many different brands. This pump is durable and easy to use. The removable base makes cleaning SO easy! I have a 40ft x20 ft inground pool, and when we have a big rain, it clears the water off the cover in less than an hour. It is very quiet and sometimes I would have to get it in the water to make sure it was actually on, but it was! It also has an automatic shut off which is very helpful when life gets busy and you forget that it is still plugged in. The cord length is so useful as well. I still have to use a lengthy extension cord because if where my pool is, BUT the cord does not even come close to standing water which is a major plus! The manual is easy to follow and setup takes no time at all. If there are any issues with the pump, customer service is AMAZING! I definitely recommend this pump!

Great pump that does exactly what it’s supposed to do. For its size, it moves water surprisingly well and clears my pool cover quickly. It’s efficient, easy to set up, and has been very reliable so far. Also has excellent customer service!

Bought Acquaer 1/4 pool pump and it worked great then it kept kicking GFI. Sent customer service a email and they got right back with me. Told them what was going on and they shipped me a new one right away. I have 3 other friends that have this pump and they have had no problems with theirs.

The Acquaer 1/4 HP Automatic Swimming Pool Cover Pump worked great for about a year and performed exactly as expected during that time. Unfortunately, it eventually failed. That said, I reached out to customer service and was impressed with how quickly they responded and honored the warranty—they promptly sent a replacement with no hassle. While it’s disappointing the unit didn’t last longer, the company clearly stands behind its product. Based on that experience, I would still feel confident purchasing from them again.

Bought this pump last year and it worked great. I attempted to use it a week ago and the pump ran but wasn’t sucking any water to drain the cover. I reached out to the company and they promptly replied. They simply asked for the reason and a short video of the pump. Within two days of sending the information, they asked for a shipping address and are replacing the pump. Great customer service. Highly recommend.

I purchased this close to two years ago.  It worked fine pumping out excess rainwater from a crawl space area during rainstorms.  However, I tested this unit a few days before a big rainstorm was to hit my area by submersing it in a large container of water to see if it worked properly. The pump did not pump out the water.  The unit turned on, but would not pump water through the attached garden hose. It only worked correctly when the garden hose was removed.  I emailed the company, and they were very polite and gave me numerous suggestions to try and solve the problem in two different emails. I tried all of their suggestions, and the pump would still not pump water out through the garden hose even though it turned on.  So the company sent me a brand new item that I recently received(took only a week to get it) and I submerged it in the container of water and it works just like it is supposed to.  I am very impressed(and honestly very surprised) that this company stood behind their product and were willing to honor the 3-year warranty on this pump.

I bought this pump for my above ground pool. Initially, it worked great and pumped so much more water than the last pump that I had. I did end up having an issue with the float switch. It wasn't re-engaging after the pool cover was emptied and then filled back up with rain water and snow melt. I contacted customer service and they walked me through some troubleshooting steps. The pump began to work again as it should.Customer service was very prompt and had a genuine concern for the issue. The pump also comes with a 3 year warranty and a one-time replacement. This is the first year of using this pump but so far so good. Will update review as time goes on.

i bought this to use with my grandkids water tower. it runs non stop for hours with no issue.

This device has been reliable all winter. The power of pump is excellent and consistent. The only gripe I can mention is that the base grate can get clogged and may need a quick cleaning, however it does do it's job and keeps the motor from getting jammed up. It's worth the price.

I bought this pump to remove water from my automatic pool cover. Product appeared solid, was quite heavy and looked to be well built. Assembled easily and confirmed without hose it pumped water well. Once I attached a 30 foot hose, I put the pump back on the pool cover - insufficient power to pump water through a 30 foot garden hose. Garbage product, lacks power and will have to buy another brand. Don’t waste your time if you are using this to remove water from a pool automatic cover, it doesn’t have the strength to pump and becomes a 4 pound paperweight.
