I have had a lacrosse weather system for 8 years/ In fact - 3 weather displays in all. All three still performing and displaying all my older temp, wind and rain modules. However, the three systems stopped communicating with LaCrosse servers - meaning my modules no longer communicated with "La Crosses' View App". I bought this device (X100) so I could once again view the individual modules (temp, wind and rain) on the "View App", through my iPhone. . This x100 unit does this very well. I worked by email with LaCross techs - to get my older wind and rain modules back into their servers once again. All working very well! Thanks.

I purchased this system because I wanted a reliable way to monitor temperatures in multiple locations without constantly checking them manually. After using it, I can confidently say it has made that process much easier.Setup was straightforward. The bridge connected to my Wi-Fi without much trouble, and pairing the three included sensors was quick. Within minutes, I was able to start monitoring conditions in different areas, including my garage, shed, and parts of the house. If you already use other La Crosse products, the system integrates nicely into the existing ecosystem.The biggest advantage is the alert functionality. Instead of periodically checking temperatures, the system can notify you when conditions move outside your preset ranges. That makes it especially useful for monitoring freezers, storage areas, greenhouses, garages, vacation properties, or any location where temperature changes could cause problems.The sensors have maintained a reliable connection, and the app makes it easy to view current readings, historical trends, and humidity levels. I also like that the sensors are compact and can be placed almost anywhere without taking up much space.Keep in mind that the sensors require AA batteries, which are not included, and mounting hardware is not provided if you plan to permanently install them. Neither of those points affected my overall experience.Overall, this is a well-designed monitoring system that provides reliable temperature and humidity tracking, useful alerts, and peace of mind. Once it's set up, it quietly does its job in the background, and that's exactly what I was looking for.

This monitoring system stands comes with one gateway three sensors. Each sensor requires two AA batteries to operate (not included). Both the bridge and sensors are pretty compact and does not take up a lot of space. The setup was pretty straight-forward by scanning the QR code on the manual and bar codes on the devices. We do need to connect the hub to our home WiFi for it to function. The App allows use to add and manage multiple devices.The unit functions quite well. The sensors maintain a stable connection indoor and outdoor even at a distance, making it easy to track conditions across multiple areas. The mobile app is user-friendly, displaying clear readings along with useful history trends and updates. The alert feature will send notifications when conditions change, which can be critical for protecting spaces like freezers, greenhouses, or remote properties.The ability to monitor both temperature and moisture levels gives a more complete picture of the environment. The bridge and the sensor units can be placed on the table without mount hardware. If we want to mount it outdoor, we would need to provide out own mounting hardware.Overall, this is a well-designed system that offers convenience, reliability, and strong peace of mind for everyday monitoring needs.

I picked up the La Crosse Temp Tracker Wi‑Fi Alert System because I wanted a better way to keep an eye on temperatures without constantly walking around checking things like it’s a scavenger hunt. This system immediately upgraded me from “guessing” to “fully informed.” Setup was easier than expected. The bridge gateway connected without much fuss, and once everything was synced, the sensors started reporting right away. Having three indoor/outdoor sensors is a huge win—you can monitor multiple areas at once, whether it’s rooms, garages, storage spaces, or anywhere temperature actually matters. I already have a La Crosse weather station, and this was a big upgrade to tell me what the temperatures are in other areas of my house, shed and garage.The real magic is the Wi‑Fi alerts. Instead of periodically checking, I now get notified if something drifts out of range. It’s like having a quiet little assistant watching conditions 24/7 and tapping you on the shoulder if something needs attention. No more surprises, no more “I should have checked that sooner” moments. I set it up, then installed the sensor outside. Now the sensor is not communicating with the Bridge. I moved the Bridge to just the other side of the wall the sensor is on. Still no luck. So I can't see the temperature from the app on my fone. So low score on the functionality. I'll have to spend some time trying to figure this out. Unfortunately the reason I bought this is I am often away from home and wanted temp alerts. I'll be leaving again for a couple weeks so hopefully when I get back I can get some answers.

The system will send a notification the moment humidity levels drift outside a safe range. It provides incredible peace of mind when I am away from the house.Setup was easy and quick. I had no issues with compatibility with my network and it paired with my Netgear wireless router first try. The bridge maintains a solid connection even through multiple walls. I only have one small complaint and that is it only supports 2.4ghz and not 5ghz. If you can't use 2.4ghz or have interference in that frequency it could cause problems, but I had no issues with connectivity using 2.4ghz.The entire system is sleak and compact. The components are all white and blend in well without standing out. The remote sensors have a hole which could be used for wall mounting.When paired with a dehumidifier and AC unit this is an affordable and reliable insurance policy for any valuable collections that are sensitive to yellowing, warping or foxing due to high humidity/heat.

I own several LaCrosse products, and have for many years. The reason is that they are a company known for quality equipment. This product package completely excels in performance. The gateway unit synced flawlessly to the smartphone app and to my WiFi network. All 3 temperature probe units also synced to the app on the first attempt. Once everything was operational, the probes stayed connected to the system. I located them approximately 100 feet apart and from the gateway, and they continued to operate perfectly. The app is very intuitive and easy to use- temperature and humidity are disposed for each ozone, along with history graphs. The app offers the ability to refresh the data, if desired, otherwise the probes update the app whenever there is a change to report. The probe's run on 2xAA batteries, and the gateway has a usb plug and wall 120 volt power pack ac-to-usb dc voltage converter. You have the ability to customize various alerts for ea h probe, and will be alerted with a smartphone 'banner' notification when alerts are triggered. For a nominal fee of $30/yr for unlimited devices, you can also receive email and sms text alerts. For the price, this system is a wonderful bargain. I intend to use the technology to monitor my lake cabin so I can make sure that the heat is working in the winter when I'm not there, and that the plumbing is not in danger of freezing. It's a capital improvement and expenditure that will provide safety and peace of mind for a long time into the future. Once again, LaCrosse hit a home run with this product!
