Wow, this is perfect. We have a long hall that needs a runner and with dogs, they don't last forever. This is great. It looks great and is very comfortable to walk on, but it's also sturdy fabric and seems to be holding up better than what we had before. It's not very thick, but it does have a nice backing to it that prevents it from slipping. Honestly that's already a massive improvement as our old runner needed a separate rubber mat under it to keep it from sliding all over the place! Cleaning this is pretty simple, and I think it could even be washed in a machine if you had to. So far it lays flat and doesn't curl up at the corners like standard rugs often do. Overall great runner and glad to have it.

I appreciate the berber look of this rug and that it is synthetic so it can be washed in a washing machine, but it’s unfortunate that it was folded for shipping instead of being rolled up. I still do not know why manufacturers continue to do this. I would imagine the shipping cost of a rolled rug is too much and the decision was made to fold it but look at the damage it does to the rug.I laid the rug out on the floor, pulled and stretched it and then let it sit for 3 days and still those folds are there. Perhaps if I throw it in the washing machine it will come out flat. I will try that next.The rug does have the standard rubber backing that helps keeping it in place but there is a universal aspect to all rugs in that thinner ones have a tendency to bunch up and the edges shift as you walk on them. This rug is just barely thick enough to hold its shape and position but misses the mark. It would be so much nicer if it was a little thicker. Of course I can use some kind of carpet tape but that’s a pain and an added expense.This rug is pretty nice but it’s better to have a rug that is thicker and is worth the extra money. For $38.00 this rug misses the mark for value in that it could have been thicker for about the same price or perhaps $5 to $10 more for that increase in thickness.

We have used it in a high-traffic area of the kitchen for a week. It stayed perfectly in place, even when our robot vacuum went over it every day. At a little under1/4" in thickness on the edges, it isn't a particularly cushiony rug, but it was still very soft and comfortable on bare feet. And the unique 2'x6' size made it a nice fit in front of the sink and dishwasher.Afetr a couple weeks of daily use in the kitchen (even though the dirt was not very visible due to the rug being a nice brown color), we gave it a wash. I was pleasantly surprised by how clean it got in the washer. As affordable as this rug is, I was worried that it might fall apart, get pilly, or that the non-skid dots on the bottom might start falling off, but it came out looking almost brand new and as nice as it was out of the box. I'd highly recommend this rug.

The area rug resembles jute and the color is warm and sunny. The hand is surprisingly soft which strongly magnetized a cat to its surface making it difficult to move it in place. After displacing the cat with the dining table, the 5x7 size fits well under the 6 person dining table. I appreciate its natural appearance and how it brightens a dark space compared to the brown rug we replaced.It arrived folded and tightly wrapped in plastic. The rubber backing has memorized the stretches of the folds resulting in large lumps that could be a safety hazard. The other quality issue occurs at the edges where the woven pattern makes it easy to see how the edge has been sewn unevenly. I made sure it’s not the lumps tricking the eye. If the rug had a matching edge trim applied and was shipped on a roll it would likely cost double. It remains to be seen how long the edge stitching will last but since we don’t use the dining table regularly it should last a long time. If you’re using it in a high traffic area you may want to consider a thicker rug that lays flat. Also, if straight edges is a must, please continue looking. I do not mind the “hand made” uneven look of it where it is so we will keep using it for now.I gave it 3 stars for the feel, rubber backing and color.

This rug has a lot of positives in its favor. It does feel like natural fiber (the description says it's cotton/poly blend), and is comfortable underfoot. The rubber backing effectively helps it stick to the tile floor. The color is a nice neutral mid-brown., and the texture isn't so knobly or hard that it would leave imprints on skin if you laid on it, like some sisal rugs do.The combination of size, shape, and price make it good value for money. According to the item description, it is machine washable, although I haven't tried that yet. And frankly, the size I ordered (6' x 4') wouldn't fit in my washing machine anyway. The only potential concern I might have is the rug's durability. Only time will tell if it begins to fray or wear through the threads. If it does, how raggedy will it get, and how quickly? Those are questions I can't answer yet, so for the time being I'll recommend this rug as an inexpensive but very versatile floor covering that looks and feels very natural.
