It has dual controls, so no fighting with your partner over the temperature! Multizone, so your feet stay warmer than your head. I have cold feet, I use this on the lower 1 or 2 setting even through the summer. It's warmth also cures my toe cramps when my feet get cold.. Comfortable to lay on, as easy to put on the bed as a regular mattress pad cover. Fits true to size, no excessive pulling needed.
I don't usually write reviews. But, this heated mattress pad is over the top-excellent! I highly recommend it. I have used heated mattress pads for probably 30 years, one particular brand. I bought a new one late summer and didn't use it until the colder weather came here in the mid-west and it did NOT perform. The one I had prior to it, didn't work as well either. So. I lost money on that, because I didn't use it until past return date. I researched for a new one and liked the sound of this one. aAnd that someone has finally decided to make two heating areas. One for the feet!!! This little mattress pad heats up way better than anything I've ever had before. Very, very warm. In fact, I have to turn it down to 1 or 2. Same for the feet. Now, I can't say if you feel the wires or not, because I have always used another mattress cover to cover the heated one. That was because the prior pads had the hook up at the foot of the bed and your feet would get tangled in it, so I covered it to fix that problem. This one has the cord come out at the top and you don't have the cord running underneath the bed and get tangled up in the vacuum when you clean, too.It is rather thin and a person could feel the wires a little, I think and that would be bothersome. But, cover it with another pad and that eliminates that concern. Anyway, I would HIGHLY recommend this mattress pad. Now of course, time will tell how long it lasts-and it is a little pricey. I have a double bed and I'm a senior so I hope it lasts a long time. It was easy to put on, there is no noise and we will have to see how the stability does. Good luck and go ahead and buy it. It is a great product if you want great warmth! Oh. The controls-took a little getting used to. It goes from 1-9 but if you want to change the temp you have to start over-there is no down arrow. But, it is still a great heated mattress pad.
Love this pad!! My feet get cold before any other part of my body. I saw this and was so pleased to see that I could add heat to my feet without overheating my torso. Works super well. Hope it lasts as other blankets and pads seem to wear out quickly. Daughter recommended it!!
It heats OK, but the fit on my standard king bed isn't great. It keeps wrinkling/bunching up and scootching down from the head towards the foot of the bed as much as allowed by the fabric that wraps around the mattress allows. That fabric might be great if you have an extra deep mattress, but on mine, it allows for alot of 'drifting' of the top of the pad. Seems too stiff, in a way, too. Hard to pull the wrinkles out of it (perhaps because of the generous amount of fabric to wrap around the mattress). Also, I am not a great fan of the controls. I read the instructions last winter when I bought it, but by this time of year (fall), I can't remember how to adjust 'time on' versus 'heat level' for each zone. So, it's not easily obvious. I will need to reread the instructions, I guess. The photos are of exactly how it looks after I stripped the sheets this morning. Sometimes, I can feel the crinkles under the sheet and try to flatten them out before I sleep. Other than that, yes, it does heat. Not particularly fast. I liked my old heated mattress pad (from a manufacturer that no longer exists) better.
It works. It's warm. But it could be designed better and, aside from that, it may not be the best choice if you have a lot of temperature fluctuations.First, for anyone who wonders: I have the Twin XL and the cord comes out of the upper left corner. That is, if I'm lying on my back in bed, the cord will be at my right ear/shoulder. The cord comes out of the mattress pad and I cut a hole in an old bottom sheet so the cord can come straight out, unimpeded, and uncovered, and then the cord runs straight to the control (there's a good amount of slack until the control box, like 6 feet at least) and then the cord continues from the control box to the plug (another good long stretch of cord). But I do find the cord to the control box to be awkward to deal with. It's thick and stiff (i.e. well insulated) and hard to place it so you can reach it at night, especially since I like to change the temp many times during the night.Next, as others have mentioned the control panel is a bit fiddly. But I've found a light tap lights up the on/off button and a solid press of that button lights up the controls reliably. What's fiddly are the foot/body buttons mostly because they're small and you only need a light press. I often hit it inaccurately or with not enough force, especially when I'm sleepy. And you have to cycle all the way through the numbers in one direction. And yes, the control box is WAY TOO BRIGHT AND ALWAYS ON. What on earth. Who would design it that way? If I want it in easy reach throughout the night, it's always shining in my face. Sigh.Heating: Love the zoned heating. I have a freezing bedroom and I'm glad I bought this electric pad. But, I find the lowest setting (1) on the body portion is often not low enough and then 2 is always way too warm. But somehow OFF is always too cold. The foot portion has a better range of temps. I keep it between 3-5 with extra blankets on top.For anyone who is as irritated by fluctuating body temperatures as I am, who has found a hot water bottle to be insufficient as I did, I'll just say this: I half wish I had looked into a smaller, mobile heating pad that I could move around throughout the night and turn on and off or up and down while remaining under the covers. It would have its own drawbacks, but it would allow me to cool down more quickly when I begin to overheat and would supply a quick burst of heat when and where I need it most. So, I like this mattress pad. It basically works as advertised, but sometimes when I wake up too warm I cannot get away from the heat quickly enough because every inch of the bed is warm, even under my pillow, and throwing off the blankets doesn't help fast enough.
I absolutely love this waterproof heated mattress pad! It has completely transformed my sleep experience during colder months. The best feature is the separate controls for each side of the bed, which means my partner and I can adjust our temperatures independently. I can heat just the top half, the bottom half, or both sides at once – so versatile! The pad offers nine different heat settings, giving you full control over your comfort level. Whether I want a gentle warmth to take the chill off or a cozy, toasty bed to crawl into, there’s an option for every preference. Plus, the built-in timer is fantastic for saving energy—I can set it to automatically turn off after a few hours, so I don't have to worry about it running all night. The waterproof feature is also a big plus. It's reassuring to know that the mattress pad is protected from spills or accidents, and it’s still very soft and comfortable to sleep on.Overall, this heated mattress pad is a game-changer for cold weather. It’s easy to use, has plenty of customization options, and adds a whole new level of comfort to my bed. Highly recommend!
This is large on my twin XL mattress. It doesn’t stay in place well. It has a hole at a seam in the very thin netting-like material. The control cord is very short. And the feet doesn’t heat very well. I put it on the highest heat setting and it feels like it’s on the lowest heat setting. Very, very disappointing, especially for how much it cost. Not worth buying.
This is a game changer for those of you who want to slip into a nice warm bed, but don't want to run the heater on high levels to warm up the entire room. We like sleeping in a cool room, but having the ability to preheat the bed a little, mostly the foot area, before slipping in for the night is awesome. Glad I waited until this 4 zone heated mattress pad was invented. Very happy with the product. Each half of the mattress pad will require it's own wall socked, so be prepared for that. Each side has it's own 2 zone controller with timer which is really nice. With all 4 zones on High, it draws a little over 140 watts of power at 120 Volts AC, but if you turn them down to level one or two, your talking maybe 15-20 Watts power draw. Would probably work great in RV's with limited power to save on heating fuel.
Feet toasty warm, nice and cool at the top.
Very good product. Feels smooth w under bedding.
Works great and gets pretty hot. You can kind of feel the wires a little but it’s a minor thing. Had two zones. Note that you’ll need to plug it in with two sockets. One on each side of the bed.
Love this heated mattress pad. Wife has neuropathy in feet, always cold feeling. So heated pad really helps
Love it. Bought it at then end of winter so didn’t get a lot of time to use it but for the bit I used it it was exactly what I wanted.
