I bought this at a really great deal, and for the price, you can't beat it. I have a big king-sized bed, and every time I try to order a comforter of any kind, it seems like they barely cover my bed and always seem to be on the short side.I was a little nervous when I read the reviews about people complaining that it was too thin. It is sitting on my bed right now, and feels pretty cushy to me. Is it overstuffed? No, but at this price, would you expect it to be? I looks pretty poofy and feels great, too. I personally would definitely not label it "thin". I also read reviews that said it feels like a sleeping bag, and although I understand why they are saying that now (it has a slight sheen to it and has a thick-type material that IS kind of similar to a sleeping bag, I guess), it actually really looks nice and does feel a lot softer than a sleeping bag. When it rustles around, it also makes a kind of crisp, poofy sound a little like a sleeping bag, but some of the nicest, most expensive comforters I have owned made the exact same noise, too - usually indicative of a plush, comfy, cover.The part that got me super excited, though, was the fact that it covers my king bed appropriately and cascades down the edges with decent coverage. Yay! I honestly was not expecting that for the price.After sleeping last night with it, it was perfectly comfy. Not too hot, not too cold. When winter begins to approach, I plan on using this as an insert into one of my warmer duvets, since it is perfect for that and exactly what I was looking for. If you are looking for a decent insert for a duvet only, you can't go wrong with the price, and you don't have to worry about the aesthetics of it, anyhow. The down alternative is evenly filled in the squares of this comforter, as far as I can tell, even after washing it (again - not overstuffed, but decently filled and reasonably fluffy).As with anything, you get what you pay for. If you want something overstuffed and more luxurious, you need to look elsewhere. If you need a basic down alternative comforter/duvet insert and are on a budget, this will most likely exceed your expectations for the price.

I picked up this Modern Threads comforter to replace an aging duvet that had seen better days, and for everyday use it's been a really solid upgrade. The white-on-white reversible design is clean and versatile — it looks crisp and hotel-like on the bed and pairs well with just about any bedding set. The queen size has generous dimensions and drapes nicely over the sides of our bed without looking skimpy.The down alternative fill is soft and fluffy with a good loft right out of the packaging. It's warm without being stifling — perfect for year-round use in a climate-controlled bedroom. I was also relieved that it's allergy-friendly since I react to real down, and this has given me zero issues in that department.The fabric feels smooth and comfortable against skin, and at this price point the overall quality is impressive. It arrived well packaged in a neat bag and didn't have any of that strong chemical smell some bedding products come with.The reason I'm stopping at four stars is that after the first machine wash the fill shifted a bit unevenly in a couple of the baffle sections. It fluffed back up reasonably well after tumbling with dryer balls, but it took some effort and it's not quite as even as it was on day one. Not a dealbreaker, but worth knowing going in. Overall a great value comforter that I'd happily recommend.

Having bought literally hundreds of items on amazon.com, this is the first review I've done. This product is a 5-star comforter, unbelievably low-priced, beautiful on both reversible colors, and the feel of the material is smooth and soft. Not heavy, it is perfect for a comfortable covering for a nap. Can't praise it enough. Liked it so much, we immediately bought a second one in different color. Tip: to remove the wrinkles when we unboxed it, we washed it in cold water and dried it. Wrinkles pretty much disappeared, making it even more attractive.

As temperatures dropped this year here in Minnesota, I kept adding more fleece throws to my covers until it got uncomfortably heavy.Then I found this lovely thing on Amazon. I washed it before using as instructed. It dried and fluffed up nicely. The fabric is so soft.Now I sleep with just this comforter and it’s almost too warm. I’ll have to turn the heat down at night to 67 or so, but I sure won’t have to worry when we get more -30 windchills.Love this comforter! It’s exactly what I hoped it would be.

Typically I am a fluffy soft blanket type of gal and I am most definitely not a hot thick kill me heat type of gal. I need fans, ice packs and cooling blankets as it is to sleep at night. So I was pleasantly surprised that the description matched this comforter. It is actually the perfect fill, the perfect amount of warmth, not too hot, not cold, (not fluffy soft but I rectify that by having a soft fluffy throw blanket nearby - call me silly but, haters gonna hate), its not really a silk type material and I don't want to call it a microfiber, but it's still a soft almost silken type fabric, that helps keep the material cool at night.It doesn't seem to attract ungodly amounts of dog hair (I have 4 dogs and they all think they own the bed). and it washes nice n easy.My only drawback is that the sizing seems off - the size is supposed to be a "Full/Queen" now I hate it when companies do that - I realize there is like what a 1" difference I guess between the width, I know it's something small, but for some reason, the comforter just doesn't seem to want to cover the whole bed and stay in place. I mean it DOES cover the whole bed, BUT the flat sheets hang lower on the sides of the bed than the comforter does so when the bed's made it simply doesn't look right. (and it certainly doesn't hang like it does it in the photo - the comforter hangs about to the middle of the bottom row of squares on each side of the QUEEN size bed I have. - it doesn't take much in the middle of the night for my husband to roll over and whoops there goes the blanket with him and I'm left in a ball shivering, looking for one of my fuzzy blankets.If you were to change your sizes and actually make a QUEEN size comforter separate from the FULL size I would definitely be much happier.As a mother, grandmother and business owner, I know and understand the true value of an honest review, I, myself, depend on reviews when making purchases and my business only exists thanks to testimonies and reviews from clients.
