Was immediately disappointed at quality of ice bag/bucket upon opening package. It's like a cheap soft sided collapsible lunch bag, I wasn't looking to replace ice 4 times per day. Luckily we have an igloo cube cooler about 1 foot square which allowed only once daily ice block swap out. It worked very effectively for two weeks before complete failure. Pump no longer functional. There is no way to contact manufacturer and no troubleshooting info included, so have to return, it's going to be interesting how to dry it out and not saturate return packaging...

I love this item and would give it 5 stars if it had a controller setting to always be on. That being said, we are really buying the pad, hose, and pump combo. The bag does allow you to lift it to another location, but you could use a 5 gallon bucket, Igloo cooler, or large lunch pail if you desired.What would make this great would be a way to keep the pump at the bottom of the bag provided.Use any type of clamp you have that can be used to clamp some of the hose's external cloth material to some plastic zipper teeth. Something gentle that won't crush, pinch, cut, or damage the hose.The best thing and the manufacturer could do it would be to place some Velcro far enough up the hose from the pump. This way, the Velcro could keep the hose secured to some spots on the outside of the bag with the opposite tooth Velcro from the hose. Soft pile side of Velcro on the hose.This item doesn't have a controller setting to be always on. I didn't do my research when I purchased this.The value for the cost is great, and I would recommend this item if you need something, but you don't have a lot of money. However, for $50 there are options with the qualities I said previously, so demanding the manufacturer have those items for this would make this item cost $50 more and as long as the pump doesn't quit on me I might return and give this item 5 star.

I am not disappointed with this cold therapy knee machine. I bought this for my mom, and it’s been a great help for her knee since she had a knee surgery last year. It is easy to set up, my husband and I figured out how to set it up in less than 2 minutes. My mom says its very comfortable and fits well without being too tight so she can wear it for a great amount of time without feeling any pain or discomfort. The cold therapy works well and helps soothe her knee, and it even works great at night. I have no issues with the ice retention and there is no leakage so far. It does appear durabile which is very important. This was definitely worth the cost, my mind is at ease because its comfortable and it works wonderfully.

I purchased this for my father after knee surgery but after 3 days the pump just died. Amazon quickly replaced it with a new one. The 2nd died on day 4.. ordered something different this time.

Used it twice, 2nd time using it leaked. I had it in a chair with a towel underneath and towel was soaked, chair was wet, glad I didn’t get anything on my floors. It worked until it didn’t!
