I'm using this cable to connect my receiver to my projector after a theater upgrade and so far it does the job without hassle. Specifically this is from a Denon AVR-S970H to a XIMGIMI Horizon 20. Being an active adapter, my first worry was that it'd have heating issues but it's not noticeably above room temperature to the touch when I've checked so far. My second concern was that the adapter plug would be larger than normal because of the extra hardware which was unfounded. With the bend radius included it stands off about the same amount that most USB flash drives would which is further than a basic HDMI cable but nothing hard to work with. While I didn't measure the cable length, it's got plenty of slack after doing my 26' run so I would think the length was accurate. In my several weeks of use we've seen no flicker, display artifact, or anything else that would make me concerned it's not signaling properly with 4k 120 with HDR feeding from the receiver to the projector reliably. I also tested playing content directly on the projector and the cable properly supported feeding audio back to the receiver via eARC giving ATMOS support (5.2.2 setup for me). Given plenty of other brands are charging 5-10x as much, I think this was a fantastic value for a really high quality cable. It doesn't have the ability to disconnect the fiber and adjust length like some super expensive ones do, but gaining eARC support over those and being barely more than a non-fiber HDMI cable makes it a no brainer. I was not personally concerned about cable flexibility having worked a lot with fiber over the years, but to anyone concerned... don't be. Unless you're trying to tie a tight knot (which can break copper cables too) fiber optic cables are way more flexible than you intuitively think when you know they're glass and this cable doesn't do anything to make it less flexible.

I purchased this cable to solve a real problem - the HDMI cable I was using to connect my receiver to my TV would experience audio dropouts when the refrigerator compressor kicked on or when my wife used her treadmill. This HDMI cable uses fiber-optics, making it largely immune to electrical noise (some of the connections are copper, but they're low voltage, handshake and link negotiation stuff, not the actual video/audio signal you care about).Because it's fiber optic, it's thin. Very thin. This makes it super easy to run in tight spaces. Before running the cable, however, do be aware that fiber optic HDMI cables are directional. They only work one way. I'm not 100% sure if this is rated for in-wall installation. If you plan to install it in-wall, you should confirm whether it's rated for that and consult local codes and make the best choice considering all those factors.You can't do extremely tight bends with this cable because it's fiber optic. That's not a flaw as it's inherent to the technology, but if you're, say, running it along baseboards and hiding it between the carpet and the baseboard, that's going to require a tight turn radius so this is not the right cable.The cable delivers 4k at 120Hz without issues and solved my audio dropout problem. I couldn't test 8K, but if it meets the stated spec, it will support that.

It works pretty good actually.I can't belive I've never switched to fiber before this. My 50ft hdmi cables I have used before always had issues with higher resolutions and specific features. This on the other hand handles 4k hdr10 with zero issues. It has no noticeable latency and I can easily play games in a tv 50ft away from my desktop without issues.Not to mention it's quality. It's pretty thick and feels pretty nice and it also has already survived being tripped over and slammed into a door so its got that going for it!I love this cable and I will totally be back for more when I need them. Especially at this price and quality.Just don't forget that it is one way only and needs to be connected as labeled on the ends of the cable.

Works great. No need to pay more for other expensive brands. Used to connect a 4K NVR to a 4K television. Just be careful when handling running the optic cable not to bend it sharply or pull too much tension.

Fixed my signal issues over a 50’ run between display and A/V receiver where copper cables were failing.Also I stumbled onto the fact that I can connect an Xbox Series X to the TV using this, and then from the TV optical out back to the A/V receiver for full digital surround, which is a perfect workaround for MS’s failure to include the optical audio out on the Series X.

I have a tv which is quite some distance from my pc. Using a regular 2.1 it didn't even connect, now that I am using this cable, feels like a dream being able to switch between my monitor and tv seamlessly.

Fibbr è diventata una certezza nel mondo dei cavi e non solo quelli HDMi in fibra. Sono ben costruiti e fanno quello che pubblicizzano. Questo cavo Hdmi in particolare ha risolto un problema di stabilità del segnale tra un preamplificatore e l'nVidia Shield Tv2019 rendendo l'handshaking tra i due molto veloce (circa 1 secondo contro i 3 / 5 secondi con il cavo precedente in rame) e sopratutto stabile. Altamente consigliato.
