I bought this extender for the purpose of getting a stronger signal to a Ring camera I'm using for my driveway, as the router was a bit far from it and the signal was intermittent. It works perfectly and the camera is receiving a strong signal with no connectivity issues. The setup was fairly easy and you can place it anywhere in the house where there's a low signal or a dead spot. So far it's been a week and haven't had any problems with it. Very pleased with it and I highly recommend it.

Easy configuration, much stronger and more stable connection.I bought this because the WiFi at the assisted living facility I live in is unreliable and has a short range which does not cover more than half the property.It works quite well, it provides a much wider coverage envelope and improved connection speeds as well as improved reliability.

The app is user-friendly and makes managing the network simple and convenient. I can also block users I dont want to access, only with I would be able to rename the devices to make it easier. Most devices just show up as anonymous.Other than that, performance has been consistently strong and reliable. The signal strength significantly improved coverage throughout my home, eliminating dead zones that I previously struggled with. Speeds are stable, even with multiple devices connected at the same time, which is important for streaming, working from home, and everyday use.I also appreciate the build quality and clean design — it blends in well without being bulky or distracting. Overall, this product delivers excellent value for the price and performs just as advertised. This extender works great. Router is at end of house and I plugged the extender in center of house 30 feet away. I have full signal in all of house including basement.Great price and easy to install. I recommend this equipment.

I’ve had a mixed experience with my TP-Link device. When it’s working properly, performance is great—fast speeds, solid coverage, and easy initial setup. However, I’ve been running into issues keeping it stable in access point mode. The Ethernet connection intermittently drops, which disrupts the network and requires troubleshooting or resets.It’s hard to say if this is a device issue, a configuration challenge, or something environmental, but it does impact reliability. Overall, it shows a lot of potential and works well at times, but consistency has been a challenge.

This works really well and was very easy to setup. I needed to use mine as an access point vs a repeated/extender which wasn't covered in the Quick Start manual but the online full user guide explained it well enough. All of the changes for anything can be done via the Tether app.Plugged it in to a power socket, let it boot up, installed the Tether app which detected it and joined me to it's initial wifi network so I could continue the setup of the device. You get walked through every step nicely!In my case after configuring it I went into the "More" menu bottom right of the app, and changed the "Operational Mode" to an access point, and then setup the wifi networks I wanted from there. I did not need to extend or mesh my current SSID so I'm happy enough to use a unique network name here, it all works nicely routing wise.I then plugged this in at my remote spot of the house, and using a long ethernet cable (unique for the access point mode) I plugged that in, and now I have a super solid strong wifi signal for my security cameras and other doodads that previously struggled with signal.It's been reliable, no drops or issues, it's in a cold garage atm we'll see how it handles the heat of summer though! Speeds are not mind blowing, getting about 100MB/s throughput over it's wifi networks, but all I need for sure. One downside was the side of the thing prevents using on a wide splitter, like the antenna on the side block the next socket over if you're got a 3x2 socket plug/extender or anything going on. Works great on a long power bar though!Very happy with this for the price point, and the clarity of the instructions/app.

Very happy with my purchase. What i like about this wifi extender is that you can change the passwords within the Tether app, something you cant do with the cheaper models. Would buy again if required
