The glass lampshade was the most important aspect of this light for me, as clear plastic can oxidize and look like garbage in a hurry. It casts the perfect amount of light for an accent, looks great, and projects a beautiful pattern on the ground. Batteries still are holding out after a couple of years. It can light up for the entire night during the summer.Cons: The covering over the solar cell is plastic and is fogging similar to plastic headlights on a car. This reduces efficiency of the cells. Wish it had been made of glass. Also, the black paint oxidized significantly during the first year and continues to do so. It's outside 24/7... it's going to happen. When it bothers me enough I will repaint them.I do expect the solar cells to cease functioning eventually, and at that time I plan to convert the lights to a wired system. That's how much I enjoy the look of them.

I am so impressed with these solar pathway lights! They were incredibly easy to assemble and install, and they look much more expensive than they are. One of my favorite features is that the dome of each light is made of real glass instead of plastic, which gives them a much more elegant, high-quality look..If you’re looking for attractive solar lights that are easy to put together and add a nice touch to your landscaping, I highly recommend these. They exceeded my expectations!

These liggts are great..easy to install, look sensational, excellent quality. They are just right bright. Love them.But most of all...after over a yr i had an issue w one and this company went above and beyond to to fix it...they truly back their products...excellent customer service....so rare these days. Highky recommend.

When I need to buy another set I think i will go the route of purchasing a second of the cheaper pack. They are not real glass but they are working a bit brighter, cast a larger radius, and without as much sun to charge as these. So while this is a worthwhile purchase, if you are strictly going for performance I would not recommend spending the extra money.

These lights look pretty good and for the first couple years give good light that lasts awhile in the evening. But after a couple years, the solar panel clouds and no longer charges the battery as well (yes, I changed the batteries, but they weren't bad). While not too expensive, plan on replacing them after a couple years.

I have a bunch of those plastic lights, they are okay but, the stems break easily, the solar panels fail. I was looking for something better without breaking the bank and I saw these. Purchased a few. Wow, what a difference! the weight feels right, good and solid. Metal stands and bodies, GLASS lenses and quality solar panels make these a terrific buy. AND they are not $40- $50 dollars apiece.I now have 36 of them and will probably add more.

I get a lot of compliments on these solar lights. They are made of lasting materials..not the cheap plastic you usually find. I recently purchased these as a replacement of the same lights I purchased 3 years ago...which some are still working.

These lights are the best ones i have ever bought.They are bright and look good in the garden.I would highley reccomend these lights.You wont be disapointed.

These lights are really pretty, and despite the packaging saying they need 8 hrs full sunlight, our lights work well with just a couple of hours of full sun and dappled light the rest of the day. Even when it is overcast all day, the lights come on at dusk and stay lit for at least 2-3 hours.Don't expect super bright lighting but if you just need a bit of extra light in a decorative way, these are perfect.
